And I think SARADA is the trigger.
Before this mission, Boruto told Sarada to never give up on hope.
That line matters WAY more when you remember what Toneri called Boruto: “The star of hope.”
Now look at Chapter 38:
• Sarada is trapped and badly injured
• Momoshiki now knows she can make Boruto lose control
• Koji is warning that the worst futures are closing in
And in the future against Kawaki, Boruto has the pure eye UNLOCKED.
So if Boruto finally gets there…and instead of surrendering to Momoshiki when everything looks hopeless…THE PURE EYE AWAKENS.
