🇺🇦 The Witches of Bucha - mothers by day, drone hunters by night!🔥 They are teachers, mothers, volunteers and women from ordinary civilian jobs. When darkness falls, the Witches of Bucha take up their positions to help defend Ukraine’s skies against Russian Shahed attack drones. This all-female volunteer mobile air-defense unit emerged after Russia’s invasion of Ukraine. Today, its members continue to train and serve. . They return home exhausted after night shifts, to everyday lives. Then they prepare to do it all again. Russia brought terror to Bucha. These women answered with courage and resistance. 🇳🇴🇺🇦 Sandra Andersen Eira left Norway and came to Ukraine just days after Russia launched its full-scale invasion. A former Sámi Parliament politician and professional fisherman, she became a combat medic with Ukraine’s International Legion. She served near Bucha and Irpin. Sandra later continued her service in Ukraine’s Marine Corps, serving alongside Ukrainian soldiers under Russian fire. She saw their courage up close. She was wounded by Russian shelling and survived. From the far north of Norway to the front lines of Ukraine, She came as a foreign volunteer. She stood with Ukraine and stands with it even today Awesome woman, respect 🫡❤️
