Rays in 6 Brewers can’t handle the media attention
Jacob Misiorowski on what Pokémon energy he's bringing to Game 1 of the World Series: "Definitely the flame energy. What's Charizard's signature move? Fireball. Bring some fireball. I'm going to be ready."

Update from the #Brewers on the Timeless Ticket situation. #MLB #WorldSeries

If only we had a salary cap, fans would be treated better smh... Those poor owners.
🚨 BREAKING: Two brothers who paid $1,000 EACH for Milwaukee Brewers "Timeless Tickets" over a decade ago are now accusing the team of NOT honoring its original promise. Back in 2014, the Brewers sold tickets that never expired and could be redeemed for any future home game, including the World Series. The brothers held onto their tickets for over a DECADE, waiting for Milwaukee to reach the World Series. Now that the moment has finally arrived, they say the Brewers are only offering terrace-level seats or standing-room-only tickets instead of the best available seats they believed were promised. To make matters worse, the brothers say the tickets being offered are worth LESS than the $1,000 they originally paid. WILD.

The Brewers vs Rays World Series is gonna have slightly higher ratings than Rangers vs Dbacks just due to the increased interest in the sport… which is due to Shohei and the Dodgers. Still, MLB’s worst case scenario right before the lockout.

Pirates owner is scared of paying Paul Skenes ARB years and apparently that’s the Dodgers fault according to Pirates fans…
Paul Skenes salary will be out of the Pirates comfort zone after next season and he will likely be playing somewhere else in 2028, per @JPerrotto (pittsburghbaseballnow.com/pi…)

Random twitter account says something but since it’s Japanese everyone over here has no idea they have trolls as well and takes it seriously. Guys do your reading please.
BREAKING: Bombshell thread from Japan-based baseball account explains why "the common consensus" among Japanese baseball fans is that Shohei Ohtani has been using PEDs since a 2020 slump and only recently cycled off in anticipation of playing in the 2028 Los Angeles Olympics.

What’s interesting is the two seasons he’s really shown up in October (2020/2024), are the only two seasons he’s played less than 120 games in. There is clearly some type of fatigue he builds up and it affects his offense. Also interesting he was playing RF in both.
Mookie Betts has 4 rings despite these postseason stats (entering today): 451 PA 98 wRC+ -0.25 WPA -10.3% cWPA .667 OPS in the World Series Luckiest superstar in MLB history?

Not trying to say he should move back to the OF, that would be stupid. But giving him more off days like a catcher would + moving him to 2B might help offensively come October as he ages.

It ended awfully and we went down with the ship and we all drowned and died.
Tomorrow, it either begins, or it ends… let’s go down with the ship.

Those last two at bats for Kike and Edman were the hardest-hit balls of the year for both of them.

Next year is probably Muncy and Freeman’s last years as well. The real rebuild really happens in 2028, but the beginning is now.

Extremely fitting that’s how the season ends. A deserved ass beating and an end to an era. Will not throw anymore shade at the guys that failed. They know they failed, changes will be made. We will not see many of them ever again. Thank you for the incredible ride. Go Dodgers

I got no reason to be mad anymore. We didn’t deserve it, we played poorly at every single turn. I’m very sad. But we won two championships with this core. Hopefully we win at least one more with Shohei.

Ending the season with De Paula on the bench and Enrique at the plate… Seems fitting
