@12thlieutenant ( Consciousness came back to Satoru slowly First came the headache Then the sterile smell Then the realization that whatever he was lying on definitely wasn’t his bed ) ( Satoru’s eyes opened beneath heavy lids, his vision taking a few seconds to stop swimming White walls... unfamiliar equipment... enough machinery surrounding the room to make calling this place a normal hospital feel incredibly generous Satoru shifted one hand Then the other Nothing restrained him That was at least mildly reassuring ) ( Satoru pushed himself up onto one elbow, immediately regretting the decision when his head gave a dull throb Then Satoru noticed someone standing nearby A young woman with dark hair, an expression Satoru couldn’t quite read yet, and clothing that definitely didn’t belong to any hospital staff he recognized ) 𝕾𝖆𝖙𝖔𝖗𝖚 𝕲𝖔𝖏𝖔: “ ...Hey... ” ( Satoru’s voice came out rougher than usual Satoru cleared his throat before trying again ) 𝕾𝖆𝖙𝖔𝖗𝖚 𝕲𝖔𝖏𝖔: “ ...Mind telling me where I am... and preferably why this hospital room looks like somebody’s science experiment...? ” ( Satoru glanced around once more before his attention settled back on her ) “ ...And while we’re at it... who are you...? ”
