Caitlin on playing with Angel
“We’re both fiery competitors and we want to win it’s one of the things I really admire about her game. She’s competitive and she has a tremendous motor. She has one of the best motors in the league…so it’s been fun to be able to play with her.”
One of the key questions that must be addressed during the evaluation of a WNBA prospects
"Which current WNBA player can this prospect replace immediately?"

Good read by @AnnieCostabile but ultimately the @WNBA needs more “boots on the ground” i.e. scouts, physical background researchers, etc which would afford executives the opportunity to have more able players in it’s funnel.

Friday’s Dallas Wings announcement spotlighted the WNBA’s roster crunch.
League sources tell FOS an “ideal” roster size would be 14–15 players, as teams lean on hardship rules late in the season.

It takes what it takes! This is what I walked into at 7 am on a game day. There were more people than this before I got there. The work is the work. I’m very proud of their understanding of the work & investment required. Special thanks to scout guys, managers, support staff that show up to rebound and pass! #ITWIT #EarnWhatYouWant

This is why the "lower the rim" discourse is played out. Ashlyn Watkins’ athleticism is already starting to become prevalent at the high school level.
Girls are going to keep getting faster, stronger and jump higher.
Basic human evolution.
Great stuff
Asked Dawn Staley about the improvement of Chloe Kitts and the process to becoming a big-time player.
Staley really lets us inside all the highs and lows, the demands and desires to be an elite player.
The full answer is really worth the listen.

Quick note on Chloe:
The way I approach my job is to form a partnership. My ultimate goal is for our players to take ownership of their own development. I’m a guide to help along the way. The players who see the best results are the ones who embrace that.
Chloe has beat down my door all year - off day lifts, 2-a-day lifts, game day lifts. We plan out what we do together, but she’s the driving force.
She deserves all the credit- consistent work pays off. Proud of her!
"I feel really confident... I lift every game day, that's the biggest thing that's helped me."
After dropping 19 pts and grabbing 10 rebs, #Gamecock forward Chloe Kitts on what's helped her get off to a dominant start this season.
