As the starting center, he truly was elite on the defensive side of the ball! 98th percentile for block%, 96th percentile for foul efficiency, and 89th percentile for Oreb%.
Ty Jerome going absolutely nuts in the league to start the year has been fantastic to watch!

Chance Mallory ranked above the 90th percentile for multiple metrics including Steal%, FTA Rate, Assist-Turnover Ratio, and fouls drawn per 40 mins
Great slate tonight for getting a preview of the top half teams in the ACC with UNC, Duke, Miami, Louisville, Clemson, NC State, Florida State, and apparently big spenders Pitt all being in action tonight.
Love seeing TDR as the preseason ACC player of the year but surprised at the lack of competition there seemed to be for the spot.
A lot of turnover and remade rosters in the ACC and even with the expanded tournament seems like we could be headed for a down year for the league.
Terrible news - a great one in the Durham community. Mainly knew Chris through coaching his nephews - he always had an electric energy to him.
His father was also one of my favorite teachers in high school and really prepared me for life. You could see his life lessons in Chris.
The ACC gave UVA a dream home slate. 6/9 games are home on Saturday. Louisville on Big Monday, and then BC and GT on weekdays for what would likely be Q3 games. Well done!
