Members of our Y10 Senior Prefects went to @LiverpoolMet today to celebrate the @wearenugent Good Shepherd Mass. Archbishop John celebrated the service, & hundreds of young people from around Liverpool took part. Our students were a credit to @Hope_Academy & a pleasure to take!☺️
Our Faith in Action team had a fantastic time today at Lowe House Church! They celebrated their FiA Awards in a ceremony with Bishop Tom, where they received their badge and certificate, and had a play in the church gardens afterwards with many fun activities! A wonderful day! ☺️
We had a fantastic final Ethos Day for Y5 students today! Again our Y7 Ambassadors did us proud, and our visitors had a fun filled day of creativity, teamwork, and friendship! We look forward to 2027 when many of our visitors over these 2 days will join us as the Class of 2032!
Here are some of our highlights from Monday's Ethos Day! Students took part in RE, PE, Dance & Drama lessons, exploring our values of Respect, Courage, Ambition & Hope. Lots of fun was had on Y5s first experience of high school! Well done on everyone getting fully involved! 🙂
We've had 11 primary schools join us this week with their Y5 classes for our annual Ethos Days, & these wonderful Y7 students have been great Ambassadors! They have helped them around the academy, and shown them how we live out our values of respect, courage, ambition & hope ☺️
The @PicCatholic is always a great read, and lovely to see @Hope_Academy's recent Joint Denominational Inspection mentioned on Pg 25! 😊 #ServeOthersThroughLove

This Sunday, to celebrate Pentecost and the birthday of the Church, there is a march along Hope Street between our two cathedrals! The event begins 3pm at Liverpool Metropolitan Cathedral. The theme is "Many Voices, One Faith" It would be great to see you there to celebrate! 🙂🙏
We had our first @ASMAT_Liverpool Trust Choir rehearsal today at @SMAliverpool for our Trust Summer Service, which takes place at @LivCathedral in July. All 5 of our chosen hymns sounded beautiful! Well done to all students involved. It's always lovely to hear you sing together🎵
Congratulations @FedStMarys Year 4! A beautiful sacrament for you all to receive today, as you continue on your Faith journey 🙏

We are extremely proud to be an Outstanding RE department within an Outstanding Academy! To quote the report 'the school is a shining example of a joint denominational community that is wholly Catholic and wholly Church of England.' We couldn't be any happier!😁💚✝️
Tomorrow is the Feast of the Ascension, when Jesus ascended into heaven 40 days after rising from the dead on Easter Sunday. We have our monthly Catholic Mass here at @Hope_Academy to celebrate at 8.10am. Staff, students and their family members are all welcome to attend 🙏
It doesn't feel like 5 years since the Class of 2026 joined Hope Academy! It was wonderful to celebrate their time here on Thursday with readings, reflections and music. Students also received a prayer card on Friday that they can keep and say during their exam season 🙏

Reflections from Head Students Oliver and Keira captured the journey of the past five years, while prayers and readings from Senior Prefects affirmed the gifts and talents given by God. Contributions from Team Hope offered warm, witty reflections on life at Hope Academy.
This week Mr Harding & the Environment team have been leading Collective Worship, helping us reflect on how we can care for God's creation - Earth. Their insights have been truly inspiring, especially as students have shared their own passions & hopes for protecting our planet🙏

Let us #PrayTogether that everyone, from large producers to small consumers, be committed to avoid wasting food, and to ensure that everyone has access to quality food. #PrayerIntention @clicktopray_en popesprayer.va/praywiththepo…
Mr Ward is leading our Worship this week, focusing on our core value of Courage. He spoke about Joshua 1:9, and the courage God gave to Joshua to lead the people after Moses did. This was linked to courageous people like Rosa Parks and Greta Thunberg. Y10 were enthralled! 😊🙏
As we return to school today, there are signs all around @Hope_Academy to remind us of the incredible Easter message that He is Risen! These three words changed everything! As we begin a new term, let us feel the renewal of the Easter message and live as Easter people ✝️😊
We had 2 more groups of Y8 and Y9 students visit St. John's today to help with a number of Primary school Easter Journeys. Students were able to serve our community, and many positive comments were given about their attitude, behaviour, and willingness to help ☺️ Well done! 🙌🙏
