Reminder: This is the same admin that cut healthcare, defunded Planned Parenthood, slashed women’s health research funding, restricted the word “women” from research and programs across the federal government, and is still withholding money from the Teen Pregnancy Prevention Program.
And that’s just the start.
Slapping “women’s health” on a division with no funding plan while continuing attacks on women and calling it a day is a sad attempt to win back women. We won’t fall for it.
President Trump signed an executive order alongside first lady Melania Trump on Monday creating a task force and a National Institutes of Health division focused on women's health.
Trump credited the first lady with spearheading the initiative, which he said will expand research into understudied diseases affecting women, advance early diagnosis and improve treatment options.

Trump's White House isn't backing off abortion bans. They're just hoping America doesn't notice until AFTER we've voted.
NOTICE. SPREAD THE WORD. AND VOTE!

Wiles suggested to Todd Blanche that an aggressive approach on abortion would be negative for the GOP in November

Grateful to @RepYassAnsari, @repdinatitus & their colleagues for speaking out & urging the State Dept to respond to the Turkish gov’s escalating crackdown on LGBTQI+ people, human rights defenders & civil society orgs
Proud to be in solidarity with @HRC & @Global_Equality✊🌏🏳️🌈
I led 65 @HouseDemocrats in urging @SecRubio to confront Turkish President Erdogan and the Turkish government over its escalating campaign of repression against LGBTQI+ people, human rights organizations, and advocates.
I stand proudly with the LGBTQI+ community here and abroad and will continue to fight for their right to live openly, freely, and without fear, anywhere and everywhere.
Thank you @RepTitus, @HRC, @PlannedParenthood, and @Global_Equality for supporting and helping lead this effort.

Abortion is health care, no matter where you live.
For over 50 years, the harmful Helms Amendment has blocked U.S. foreign assistance from supporting abortion care, even where it is legal.
Today, on International Safe Abortion Day, we’re fighting to repeal Helms and make reproductive health care accessible to everyone, everywhere.
Thank you @SenBooker and @janschakowsky for reintroducing the Abortion is Health Care Everywhere Act to end the #HelmsAmendment — a policy that puts #reprofreedom out of reach for millions of people around the world. #Sept28 schakowsky.house.gov/media/p…

On World Contraception Day, we reaffirm that everyone deserves the freedom to make informed decisions about their bodies and their futures.
Sadly, this principle is under attack at home and around the world like never before. I’m proud to lead the Protecting Human Rights and Public Health in Foreign Assistance Act to reverse the Trump Administration’s extreme attacks on foreign aid and health care abroad.
The Administration has reportedly sought to destroy contraceptives and labeled them “abortifacients”—a dangerous step toward restricting contraception here at home.
I’ll keep fighting to protect access to contraception in the U.S. and around the world. It saves lives, prevents unintended pregnancies, and empowers people to decide whether and when to start a family.

A reminder on this World Contraception Day that the Trump admin allowed millions of taxpayer dollars worth of family planning supplies to spoil rather than provide them to people in need.
Passing the Saving Lives and Taxpayer Dollars Act would prevent this from happening again.
Replying to @HouseForeign
2/ If House Republicans really cared about addressing waste, fraud and abuse, they'd work with @RepGregoryMeeks, @RepLoisFrankel and @RepGraceMeng to pass the Saving Lives & Taxpayers Dollars Act.

Birth control is essential healthcare.
It’s medicine, it’s public health, it’s economic freedom. On #WorldContraceptionDay and every day, RFC and our Members will always fight to make sure every patient can access it.

Trump's FDA nominee refused to say whether she believes contraception, like an IUD, constitutes abortion.
WHAT!?
We need an FDA commissioner who believes in science, not an anti-abortion extremist. Every Senator should vote NO.

This is a real thing: Trump falsely labeled contraception as “abortion.”
And then he wanted to light it on fire. A Senate Democratic majority will protect your birth control, not burn it.

Sudan remains the world's worst humanitarian crisis. Hundreds of thousands face starvation, while women and girls suffer from sexual exploitation and abuse.
Trump and Rubio’s foreign aid cuts made every part of this worse. The admin must restore programs to protect women and girls and give them real economic opportunity.

Abortion care is health care, and there is a clear explanation for the doubling of ectopic pregnancy deaths in our country.
Abortion bans are not just a partisan policy dispute: they are a death sentence.
Read our full statement from RFC Co-Chairs👇.
New: Our analysis found that from 2020 to 2025, the rate of deaths involving ectopic pregnancies nearly doubled compared with the previous six-year period. The uptick was steeper in states with abortion bans. propub.li/4h1q22p
