My dad’s generation fought WWll, and benefited from the GI Bill in education and housing.
Black veterans legally qualified for these benefits but because of the discrimination

His Justice Department just sued Alaska, asking a federal judge to block certification of its Senate election if the Republican incumbent loses.
Why?
Because there’s another candidate named Dan Sullivan on the ballot and apparently he’s afraid MAGA voters can’t read. 🥴
Alaska’s Supreme Court already ruled that both candidates can run. The ballot clearly identifies the Republican incumbent.
And trump admitted he personally ordered the DOJ to file the lawsuit.
The election hasn’t even happened yet, and the president is already using the Justice Department to challenge the certification of a potential Democratic victory.
