There is no retail subReddit about ammonium paratungstate and that is exactly why understanding it separates the people who stand a chance from the people who fund other people's mistakes.
The gist of problem is that tungsten ore does not just become tungsten.
The path from rock in the ground to a product that anyone in the supply chain actually wants to buy is long, chemistry-dependent, and not very nice.
So when you are talking to a tungsten developer, ask them to walk you through their processing route in detail , and keep asking until you understand it.
