Change can be one of the most difficult things for us to cope with. Especially when it’s unexpected and the turn in front of us appears from nowhere. Read more from Craig Miller at #HopeIncStories #RecoveryTalk #Art #Turn #KeepMoving #UnexpectedTurn

@ZakWiliams describes his push to "help others" kept him from healing himself. "I bottomed out." It isn't selfish to care for yourself. We need to support suicide loss survivors who are dedicated to helping others to step back. I've heard this message from @HowitFeelsBook. #AAS21

It was the first time I told my story, but was still protecting my husband at the time. Telling even part of my story to Des, really gave me affirmation that I wasn't crazy for having thoughts of suicide. @HowitFeelsBook was there too & I'm so thankful for that moment. I stayed.

I sat alone staring at the vision I had seen in my mind for so long- a door that seemed impossible to get to. A door that appeared so out of place that many would not believe it was even there. A door that each of us possesses within us. #HopeIncArt #Photography @HowitFeelsBook
