🤬 THIS IS COUNCILLOR THOMAS WRIGHT
A DISGRACED LABOUR COUNCILLOR WHO SEXUALLY ABUSED CHILDREN AS YOUNG AS FOUR!
FOR 18 YEARS, HE SERVED AS A LABOUR COUNCILLOR. HE EVEN CHAIRED THE TYNE AND WEAR FIRE AUTHORITY.
BUT BEHIND HIS PUBLIC POSITION WAS A CONVICTED CHILD SEX OFFENDER WHO ABUSED FOUR CHILDREN AGED BETWEEN FOUR AND 15.
TWO OF HIS VICTIMS WERE ABUSED WHILE HE VOLUNTEERED WITH SUNDERLAND SEA CADETS — A POSITION OF TRUST HE BETRAYED.
WRIGHT ADMITTED EIGHT HISTORICAL SEX OFFENCES. THE COURT HEARD SOME OF HIS SICKENING CRIMES WOULD BE CLASSED AS RAPE UNDER MODERN LAW.
HE WAS JAILED FOR 15 YEARS AND FOUR MONTHS.
FOUR CHILDREN ROBBED OF THEIR INNOCENCE. DECADES OF SUFFERING.
A MAN TRUSTED TO SERVE THE PUBLIC WHO BETRAYED THE MOST VULNERABLE.
🌹 LABOUR AGAIN!!!

There was once a shepherd who found a wolf caught in a snare at the edge of his pasture.
The wolf begged to be freed.
“I was hungry,” it said. “That is all. Spare me, and I will remember your mercy!”
The shepherd cut the rope.
The next night, three lambs were gone.
Again the shepherd found the wolf. Again it pleaded. Again the shepherd convinced himself that mercy was proof of his goodness.
By winter, half the flock was dead.
An old farmer finally asked him, “Why do you keep freeing it?”
The shepherd answered, “Because I refuse to become cruel.”
The farmer looked at the empty field and said, “Then understand what you have done. You were not merciful to the wolf. You were cruel to everything that trusted you to keep them safe.”
That’s the lesson.
Mercy without judgment isn’t virtue. When someone openly intends to destroy what has been entrusted to you, endless forgiveness doesn’t make you righteous. It makes everyone behind you pay for your vanity.

I am deeply saddened to learn of Walter Koenig’s passing.
Although we did not know each other well away from the set, we shared the later seasons of the original Star Trek series and the six films that followed.
What I observed, and what so many fans have expressed over the years, was a man who genuinely loved the Star Trek community.
At conventions, Walter was rarely content to remain behind a signing table. He preferred to be among the people who had kept Star Trek alive for so many decades.
That kind of genuine connection is rare, and it will be remembered by everyone who came into contact with him.
My condolences to his family, his friends, and the countless fans whose lives he touched.

The Japanese created a new culture for themselves after WWII, focusing on economic recovery and technology.
Even accounting for inflation, Japan received less than half the western aid money that Gaza was given between Israel pulling out in 2005 and 2023, when they massacred 1200 Israeli civilians and kidnapped hundreds more to torture. And Japan in 1945 had 36 TIMES more people than Gaza!
Gazans could have had this, and more. They should be a center of industry now. But instead, they elected Hamas terrorists as their government and put all of their energy into digging terror tunnels under their homes and planning a massacre of Jews.
An industrious and honest culture like the Japanese will always thrive again, no matter how big the setbacks they are dealt. And a corrupt and violence-loving culture like the Gazans will never thrive, no matter how many advantages they are given.

The real purpose of the conversion bill is to put gender identity into law.
This bill does that but it calls it "transgender identity", but it doesn't define it, because it can't be defined.
That will make any distressed teenager a prosecution risk for parents.
Replying to @MensNetwork1
4/ Using a real history of gay pain to prosecute parents is a misuse of the criminal law and a misuse of our history. This bill exploits gay rights to smuggle in contested identity concepts into criminal law.

People online love mocking Japan with atomic bomb jokes, yet Nagasaki—a city literally reduced to ashes 80 years ago—is cleaner, safer, and far more stunning than Paris or Brasília today.
No excuses. No victim mentality. Just pure resilience, discipline, and silent work.
True greatness isn't barking on the internet. It's building something beautiful from zero.

1774: they blew tobacco smoke up drowning victims' backsides to revive them, and the kits hung along the Thames like lifebuoys.
1863: they sold cocaine wine as a daily tonic, and a pope pinned a gold medal on it.
1898: they sold heroin as a cough medicine, and spooned it into coughing children.
1918: they sold radium water as a health drink, and the millionaire who drank 1,400 bottles was buried in a lead-lined coffin with most of his jaw gone.
1921: they put lead in petrol, and Britain kept it in the pumps until 2000.
1930s: they X-rayed children's feet in shoe shops, and kids queued to watch their toes wiggle on the screen.
1940s: they rubbed mercury teething powder into babies' gums, and about 1 in 500 of those babies was poisoned.
1946: they sold cigarettes on the line that more doctors smoked their brand, and put a man in a white coat on the advert.
1949: they gave the lobotomy a Nobel Prize, and doctors went in through the eye socket with an ice pick.
1952: they sold a cigarette filter made of asbestos as the greatest health protection in smoking history, and smokers drew it into their lungs with every puff.
1957: they sold thalidomide to pregnant women for morning sickness, and around 10,000 babies were born with missing or shortened limbs.
1960s: they sold margarine as the heart-healthy fat, and spread trans fat on a generation's toast.
1996: they sold OxyContin as barely addictive, and started an overdose epidemic.
1999: they sold Vioxx for sore joints, and pulled it five years later after tens of thousands of heart attacks.
2026: they're selling seed oil as the heart-healthy fat, and it's in almost every packet in your kitchen.
Every one of these came with an expert's blessing and the same total certainty.
The people telling you which fat to fear today sit in the same chairs as the ones who put radium in the water and a doctor on the cigarette packet, and they're every bit as sure.

Apparently the poppy is a political statement now.
You sir are a pillock of the highest order.
The poppy is a representation of the blood that was spilled by our forefathers fighting against a Nazi regime that swept across Europe.
Three nations fought back.
The Greeks The Polish and The British.
The Spanish, The Italians, The French rolled over and surrendered or joined the cause.
Great Britain said not today ya fucker
The poppy is not political... its a symbol of the fight against a waking nightmare
