AMC Kip’s Bay has been one of Manhattan’s biggest and most cherished movie theaters since 1999. But the building has been sold to NYU Langone, and could permanently close at the end of this year. After hearing public outcry from my constituents, I joined my fellow NY elected leaders in calling on NYU Langone to work with us and save the theater. gothamist.com/news/nyc-resid…

Putting your hand up to participate in democracy is no easy thing. Thank you for running, Congresswoman. Looking forward to uniting this fall to beat Mike Rogers. Because what unites us is so much bigger than what divides us.
