Watch out, this dragon magic pendant bites! Wild and untamed, these beasts are known to be noble and fond of metallic glitter. ๐

The Alicanto of Chile's Atacama Desert shines brightest at night, changing colors depending on the ores it eats whether copper or green. It does not fly but runs and leaps. #FairytaleTuesday

It is with some sadness we receive this wonderful book collection that belonged to folklorist Kai Roberts.
We thank Kaiโs parents for this generous donation-these books will contribute hugely to the library, will be well loved & looked after.
Safe onward journey Kai ๐

Thank you so much to @MossMatthey for a really interesting talk on the Importance of Queering Folklore. Lots to think about representation that reflects the diversity of society and folkloreโs role in providing a positive queer friendly space and community.

โYou are not Dostoevsky,' said the woman...
'You never can tell...' he answered.
'Dostoevsky is dead,' the woman said, a bit uncertainly.
'I protest!' he said with heat, 'Dostoevsky is immortal!โ (Bulgakov "The Master and Margarita")
