🇵🇰 Pakistan U19 Asia Cup Squad
A Thread 🧵
Most of the names in this squad are familiar faces who have already represented Pakistan at the U19 level.
But there are also a few new faces who deserve attention 👀
1-Farhan Yousaf ( Captain)
For everyone confused about the new PSL retention rule:
A franchise can retain up to 7players, including its Direct Signing.
BUT if a team retains 7, it must release 1 player from the highest price tier.
It only applies to teams using the maximum 7 retentions. Simple. 🏏
Hmm so Virender Sehwag’s son Aaryavir Sehwag and Rahul Dravid’s son Anvay Dravid are both part of India’s U19 Asia Cup squad 👀🏏

My friend @MusafirNagri came from Dubai to Pakistan on vacation, but instead of just enjoying his time, he’s out here helping people and doing charity work. ❤️
He may have a big tummy but he has an even BIGGER heart! ❤️
Keep doing the good work, bro. 🤲🇵🇰
Abbas has really improved his power hitting in recent times💥
Sadly, PCB didn’t select him for the OneDay Cup
He wasn’t part of any team in the President’s Trophy either
Hopefully, he gets a chance in the QEATrophy
Abbas has a lot of potential to develop into a good allrounder
🔥 Brilliant batting by captain Abbas Afridi!
🇦🇪 vs UAE: 53 off 13 balls
🇮🇳 vs India: 35 off just 7 balls
Two explosive knocks in the Hong Kong Sixes! 💥🇵🇰
Abbas is showing serious power hitting ability! 🔥
🇵🇰 Pakistan vs India 🇮🇳 — Hong Kong Sixes
Pakistan will play their second match today against India at 11:15 AM (PST). 🇵🇰🔥
After the defeat against UAE, this is a must win game for the defending champions. No room for another slip-up! 💪
Pakistan lose to UAE in the Hong Kong Sixes💔
Thanks to some seriously slow batting from mAbdul Samad.
Abdul Samad wasted 8–9 deliveries, taking just singles in a six a side game where every ball matters. 😭
Khawaja Nafay out after wasting 4 deliveries 😭😭
Just 3 runs and gets out to a FULL TOSS. 💀
That was painful to watch. 😭
🇵🇰 Hong Kong Sixes

Got the wicket of well set Hasan raza 🚨
M imran Left arm pace at its absolute best! A dream ball in the President Trophy final jagged through the gate and crashed into the timber. 💥
His first wicket of the match, and what a BIG wicket to get! 🇵🇰⚡
Sardar Hasan Raza 30 year old batter from Mirpur, Kashmir 🇵🇰
Now the top scorer of the President Trophy with 800+ runs in 8 matches 🤯
🏏 67+ average
💯 3 hundreds
50️⃣ 4 fifties
6 hundreds in the last 2 seasons. 🔥
In Supreme form. A batter who deserves serious attention. 👏
15-🇵🇰 M. Huzaifa — Rahim yar khan
A left-arm Chinaman bowler who has been around the Pakistan U19 setup for quite some time. 🌀
Has played a few games but never really got a consistent opportunity before being dropped. Hopefully Now he gets another chance to prove himself. 👀
14-🔥 Ahmed Hussain — Peshawar 🇵🇰
An experienced bowling all-rounder and leg-spinner who has been part of the Pakistan U19 setup for a long time.
He brings valuable experience to the squad and impressed on the England tour:
4 matches | 7 wickets 🎯
An exceptional fielder👀🔥
