Neuralink’s first product is called Telepathy. It enables high-speed communication with computers or humans simply by thinking. Output bandwidth will vastly exceed the fastest human speech or typing in a few years. Read that sentence again.
Our engineers recently visited one of our speech restoration study participants for a 72-hour hackathon. The goal: rapidly prototype as many features as possible to enhance the experience of using Neuralink to communicate with thought. Here are some of the things we built 🧵

Finally cut all ties with @Xfinity and @XfinitySupport. I've been a customer for nearly 20 years and ended my mobile service today after cutting cable and internet last month. New customers were saving $100+/mo for 5+ years beyond what I was offered for the same services. It made no sense to stay a loyal customer. Why should I be the only one who is loyal?

I left the @Xfinity TV/Internet ecosystem today. I've had them 11 years at my current place, 3+ years at the previous, and 3+ years at the place before that. In all, around 18 years as a customer in the last 20. Why did I leave? New customers were getting 2x the speed and TV options for 50% the price of me and were locked in for 5 years. I called and asked for the same deal and was told "no". It costs much more to find a new customer than to keep an old one. This is business 101, and this is where Xfinity continues to fail. In another week or two, I'll drop my phone service and be done completely. Maybe I'll come back in a few years & be valued again. But if loyalty gets you nothing, why stay loyal? @XfinitySupport #xfinity #xfinitywinback #xfinitysupport #xfinityfail

Don picked up a guitar at 80 having never played an instrument in his life. He turns 85 on Monday and now plays for his family. First song he learned was "I Walk the Line." He also does "Purple Rain" and "Blue Suede Shoes." He cannot read music and practices every day with a teacher named Luke. His daughter says it took him a long time to get here. upworthy.com/an-80-year-old-…

So I'm launching a new thing... Not that I wanted to, but because the people of Colorado deserve it. Our judicial system is broken. I spent more on the domain name than I wanted to, but it is for a good cause. Hopefully, others can avoid my fate. LegalFeeArbitration.com/

I accomplished some of what I wanted - enough to be satisfied. Removing the site.

There is something patriotic about watching Morocco play on July 4th. Our North African friends were the first ones to recognize the United States as an independent country. We've maintained strong relations ever since. #WorldCup #MoroccoVsCanada #football #soccer #history #July4th #250th #CanadaVsMorocco

Amazingly, two justices on the Colorado Supreme Court said you don't have the inalienable right to defend yourself from an attacker at your workplace. Thankfully, the rest of the justices broke with tradition and used common sense and principles in their ruling. coloradopolitics.com/2026/06…

I watched Disclosure Day yesterday. Overall, I was disappointed, similar to most others. Plot holes, many irrational decisions, and bizarre outcomes are many of the reasons why. Pre-release, Spielberg made big claims about the faith-based elements of the movie. I was curious to see what the movie communicated. In the end, it was a massive misfire of Chekhov's Gun. There was no payoff. Nothing profound. It came across more like an uneducated teenager who got his theological background from TikToks and leftist forums writing an "edgy" paper for his school's literary journal. Remove those elements and nothing about the plot, storyline, or emotional impact of the movie changes.

There is lots in my feed about @elonmusk being a trillionaire and how that is a ton of money and wealth. I think it is fair to discuss that. But what's being lost is what Musk did to get there. In many ways, he disrupted, accelerated, and popularized many other sectors, including EVs, space launches (enabling other tech), sustainable energy storage, and neurotechnology. He influenced online payments to some extent. The Boring Company may prove useful at some point. Hyperloop started as an idea and is now being improved and tested in multiple countries across multiple continents. While he is the face of bad wealth to some, it is hard to deny his positive impact on the everyday life of billions.

Mini-panic set in. I got forced out of Facebook. Thought I may have been hacked in real time while I was on the account. I do have 2FA. Thankfully? It is just an outage.

Introducing Artemis III. Four astronauts. Three launches. Two dockings. One splashdown. In 2027, the Artemis III mission will practice docking the Orion spacecraft with two lunar landers in low Earth orbit — the capability we need to return humanity to the Moon’s surface.

I don't get most of the opposition to data centers. It is like loudly proclaiming, "Say no to assembly lines" in 1915. They're already coming, and they're already a fixture of the future.
