Magyar says: The evening of October 26. The worm is raging and trying to overwhelm us with sheer numbers along the front — the past week, like the entire month, has resembled an industrial slaughter. The Birds of the Unmanned Systems Forces (USF) have already passed the 14,000‼️-worm mark in irreversible and medical personnel losses confirmed in Delta (55,400 enemy targets hit/destroyed by the USF from October 1–26). There are still 5 full days of October ahead. We will pass 16,000 carcasses and 66,000 enemy targets by the end of the month, without a doubt. During October, we broke the daily record three times — the highest daily figure currently stands at 701 worms, equivalent to 8 full companies in a single day (October 24). The daily average for October 1–26 is 543 enemy personnel / 2,149 enemy targets. Every 40 seconds of October — 1 successfully engaged target. Every 159 seconds of October — 1 worm. More than 216,000 combat sorties in 26 days of October. That is the current pace. The figures provided refer exclusively to units of the USF Grouping and do not include the results of any other units of Ukraine’s Defence Forces. All results are verified in Delta, the Ukrainian Armed Forces’ situational awareness system. We will stand Moscow will fall USF live scoreboard “PIDRAKHUIKA” sbs-group.army/ MAGYAR 26.10.26

It’s my pleasure. So sad to see the Russians murdered one of your employees yesterday. The people of Ukraine are in my thoughts and prayers. @DTEK_Ukraine
As russia intensifies its attacks on Ukraine’s energy infrastructure, it is especially important that these stories reach international audiences. @LauraLoomer, we deeply appreciate you sharing what you witnessed firsthand and bringing attention to the people working to keep Ukraine powered 🇺🇦

Trump’s gambit to end Russia’s war in Ukraine by pressuring the victim is certain to fail. His approach to the war reveals he misunderstands facts that American voters understand well, writes @SenMcConnell on.wsj.com/3VUpCEl

Another WSJ 🎯 —Mr. Musk can spare us his moral indignation, since throttling Ukraine is abetting the bloodletting The irony is that the fastest route to ending the killing is extending Starshield’s reach several hundred kilometers into Russia Let’s hope Mr. Trump has at least noticed the blowback he can expect if he ever shuts off U.S. intelligence support for Ukraine. What was supposed to be unsubtle coercion of Ukraine boomeranged into a strategic and political own goal for the U.S. wsj.com/opinion/elon-musk-st…

It’s just Russia. The people who mongered the war are Putin and Putin’s advisors.
May the bloodthirsty warmongers, who push for a war that never ends, burn in hell!

Damn, Mitch! 💪 Quotes below: Trump misunderstands facts that American voters understand well factually wrong, strategically naive and morally bankrupt obsequious accommodation of Russia Putin is America’s enemy Americans, including most Republicans, understand this. They know America’s strategic interests are aligned with Kyiv’s. Putin is many things, but he is no humanitarian Russian victory would have far worse consequences for our economic and national security and our global influence than temporarily high diesel prices. The strategic incoherence extends beyond Ukraine. The Pentagon has undercut NATO allies The Pentagon officials involved in restricting U.S. assistance to Ukraine should explain how abandoning the “Silicon Valley of warfare” and the world’s experts in battlefield drone innovation will help America achieve drone dominance. Next, they should explain why the president blames Ukraine for the U.S. military’s shortage of Tomahawk cruise missiles, even though we haven’t provided any to Ukraine. Senate Republicans oppose retreat and appeasement and favor a strong defense. They support Ukraine. They support NATO. They understand Russia, China, North Korea and Iran are enemies. And they want the president to work with Congress to restore American primacy. wsj.com/opinion/coddling-put…

See @WSJ Veteran Republican Mitch McConnell spells out the”peace through strength” which has been the hallmark of US leadership of the free world. Read in full url.uk.m.mimecastprotect.com… Extract from The Wall Street Journal  - “Coddling Putin Won’t Bring Peace to Ukraine Trump’s obeisance to the Kremlin also imperils his legislative agenda in the lame-duck Congress”    “President Trump’s gambit to end Russia’s war in Ukraine by pressuring the victim is certain to fail. His approach to the war reveals he misunderstands facts that American voters understand well. While Vladimir Putin ignores Mr. Trump’s call for an energy cease-fire and continues to murder Ukrainian civilians, the U.S. president claims that Russia “has been fine on Ukraine.” This is factually wrong, strategically naive and morally bankrupt. His obsequious accommodation of Russia, rewarding the aggressor with sanctions relief, won’t persuade Mr. Putin to stop. History shows that such behavior emboldens Russia’s autocrat, who sees it as weakness. @NikkiHaley @TomTugendhat
In @thenreview The National Review George Weigel spells out Trump’s “strategic blindness” and reminds us that “Putin has declared the American-led victory in the Cold War and the subsequent dissolution of the Soviet Union as the greatest geopolitical disaster of the 20th century — and by invading Ukraine in February 2022, Putin launched a bloody effort to roll back that victory, beginning with the declared intention to exterminate Ukraine as an independent nation. If successful, there is no reason to think that Putin’s geopolitical revisionism will stop there. The Baltic states, Norway, Poland, and new NATO members Sweden and Finland understand that. Donald Trump, it seems, does not….. At the very least, these reckless deals and decisions…mark Trump as morally obtuse and strategically blind…” nationalreview.com/2026/10/t…

Ukraine, not Russia, has held the initiative in key sectors of the frontline for much of the year. Ukrainian forces have decisively defeated the main Russian offensive intended to complete the seizure of Donetsk Oblast in 2026. Ukrainian forces operationally defeated the Russian northern pincer in the Lyman direction and defeated the Russian military command’s plan to conduct a wide encirclement of Ukraine’s Fortress Belt. Ukraine’s Operation Vivaldi resulted in the liberation of around 277 square kilometers and 16 settlements north and northeast of Lyman over four phases that Ukrainian 3rd Army Corps Commander Brigadier General Andrii Biletskyi began announcing in September 2026, although the operation likely began around March 2026.

Can someone get me a gig in joining these negotiations? I'd like to propose russia withdrawal to its 1462 borders. I mean, while we are at it with the outrageous demands, we might as well go nuts, right?

This may be the absolute worst idea I’ve heard in the second Trump term. The U.S. teaming up with China and Russia to install their puppet as SecGen?
New: Sources from three countries confirm that the Trump Administration has advocated Viktor Orbán for UN Secretary-General. The US has encouraged Orbán to enter the race, even bringing him the initial idea of a joint U.S.-Russia-China candidacy. WSJ: wsj.com/opinion/viktor-orban…

Witkoff and Kushner couldn't get out of Ukraine fast enough. President Zelenskyy wanted them to go to Bucha. They "didn't find the time", he says. They didn't, reportedly, even go to the US Embassy.
Zelenskyy: I wanted the US envoys in Kyiv to visit Bucha. To see the horrific aftermath of Russian occupation and compare it with what Bucha looks like today. I wanted them to see how Ukraine is fighting for life and rebuilding. They didn't find the time. 1/

For the idiots on all sides: The war will continue if Putin were to be replaced in Russia. The war will continue if Zelensky were to be replaced in Ukraine. The war will end only when: 1) Russia suffers catastrophic defeats on the front. 2) Russian economy collapses.
