We have just been handed one of the best memecoin narratives ever. Richard Dawkins, the man who literally invented the word "meme" in 1976, recently compared a meme to a computer virus, something that exists to replicate itself and spread from one host to another. Introducing memevirus.fun/ the first memecoin built to replicate itself across Solana. how it works: → in repeated waves, the virus distributes small amounts of itself to hundreds of active Solana wallets, continuously reaching new holders. → every wallet that receives the token becomes a new host. people can discover it in their balances, trade it, hold it, or transfer it to others. → each wave increases the number of wallets carrying the token, with the live holder count showing how far it has spread. Dawkins originally described a meme as something that spreads by being copied and passed between hosts. now that same idea exists onchain, a meme self-replicating itself across hundreds of wallets. memevirus.fun/
