The @SolarpunkNomads are busy preparing an aid mission to Ukraine. We are now collecting solar panels, power banks and other tech material to support the amazing work that @gen_ukraine is doing. We will be there on October 30th to bring personally the material collected and to meet the founders. If you want to contribute send me a DM 🌱 @Marcobear_eth @RodovidMe

Solarpunk is the light that can guide us through the present darkness.

Since June 2022, we have been building and sharing the vision of Solarpunk Nomadism: an expansive ecosystem with three core elements: 🚐🚴‍♀️⛵️ SOLARPUNK NOMADS ➡️ Nomadic changemakers utilizing zero-carbon emission vehicles—such as EV vans, EV bikes, and sailboats—powered by renewable energies. ☀️👬🌱SOLARPUNK HUBS ➡️ Community third spaces where local residents collaborate on climate action and adaptation initiatives. 🏡⛰️SOLARPUNK SAFE PLACES ➡️ Regional community centers for solarpunk nomads, situated in areas resilient to climate change. Solarpunk is a literary and artistic movement that envisions and works toward actualizing a sustainable future interconnected with nature and community. The "solar" represents solar energy as a renewable energy source and an optimistic vision of the future that rejects climate doomerism, while the "punk" refers to do it yourself and the countercultural, post-capitalist, and decolonial aspects of creating such a future. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Solarp…

Solarpunk is a rebellion against the dark and dystopian narratives of the future. It offers a hopeful alternative, where communities come together to build a world powered by clean energy and collective action. Are you a Solarpunk?

I create and share every day dreamy AI images of a possible Solarpunk world. Help me in my quest following me or with a retweet, like or comment 🙏✊🏻💚🌎 #solarpunk #solarpunkworldbuilding

....This world needs Utopias as it needs fairy stories. It does not matter so much where we are going, as long as we are making consciously for some definite goal. And a Utopia, however strange or fanciful, is the only possible beacon upon the uncharted seas of the distant future. Hendrik Willem van Loon #solarpunk

It is always a pleasure listening to the wisdom of @Dr_jane_goodall 🙏💚 Thank you @GreenpeaceUK
