A Brutally Honest Review of Digger (2026) [NO SPOILERS]
Digger is not an easy watch. It is exhausting and requires your attention throughout its runtime. Most people who have seen or will see the movie will acknowledge that it is not everyone's cup of tea. That being said, it is the kind of movie that is important for cinema because it doesn't follow a straightforward narrative. It is creative and unhinged. It's satire at its finest, tackling an important subject.
Let me list the things that work:
The writing is top-notch. For a movie with so much dialogue, the writing is crucial. The standout scenes that will be talked about and heavily praised rely on the strength of the writing, and Digger executes them exceptionally well.
The acting is incredibly impressive. Tom Cruise nails his performance, as do Riz Ahmed and John Goodman. Throughout the movie, you almost forget that Digger is Tom Cruise. Makeup plays a role in that, but more importantly, it's because he plays the role so brilliantly. There's a particular speech he delivers that had me locked in every second. It was intense and exceptionally well done.
The comedy is good. While not many scenes will make you laugh out loud, a few definitely will, while the rest will leave you chuckling.
The twist initially left me wondering what its purpose was and where it was leading. However, halfway through the movie, things started to make sense. By the time the film ends, you understand why it was necessary. It makes the film even more satirical and adds another layer of depth. It also eventually leads to an impactful and somewhat haunting ending.
The cinematography is pretty good. The movie features a very greyish look, almost as if it's portraying the drained and bleak lives of the billionaires and the president depicted in the film.
Other than these, if I had to point out things that don't work, I honestly don't think I could, except, as I said, the movie can be exhausting. I think it achieves everything it sets out to achieve.
Let me know your thoughts, though. Are there any flaws you think I might have overlooked?
My Rating: 7.8/10🤺

My neighbor’s wife knocked on the door saying she needed help with something in her house. Once we were inside and alone she locked the door and turned to me. She dropped to her knees, pulled my cóck out, and took me into her mouth. She sucked deep and slow, eyes on me the whole time, getting me hard. She pulled off just long enough to say she had been waiting for a chance like this, then went right back down and took more of it.

My mother gave my younger sister the money I had been saving for my wedding, then told me I should be happy because “she needed it more.”
I had been saving for almost four years.
Every extra shift, every weekend job, every sacrifice went into that account.
My parents knew how important that money was to me.
Last month, I called my mother to ask if she could help me arrange a family meeting before my wedding.
Instead, she said something unexpected.
Mum: Your sister has been struggling. We used some of your savings to help her.
Me: What savings?
Mum: The money you left in the family account.
Me: Mum, that was my wedding money.
Mum: Don't start making this about yourself.
I immediately called my sister.
This single word changed Daenerys Targaryen’s entire story forever...” 👑
In the Season 2 finale of Game of Thrones ("Valar Morghulis"), Daenerys faces her ultimate test.
After surviving mind-bending visions, she falls right into Pyat Pree’s trap and gets bound in chains.
But this scene isn't just about a cool action moment, it’s the exact turning point where she stops being a helpless exile and truly steps into her power as the Mother of Dragons.
That cold, calculated delivery of "Dracarys" followed by locking Xaro in his own empty vault?
Pure cinema. Do you think her Qarth storyline dragged out, or was the payoff worth it?

Ant-Man is unironically the most dangerous Avenger in the MCU, and the universe only survives because Scott Lang is too chill to use his powers to their full, terrifying potential.
Give Pym Particles to someone without a conscience, and the MCU becomes a horror film:
Bypassing All Defenses: Shrink to subatomic size, slip inside any target past skin, armor, or forcefields, and expand. Vibranium and magic can’t stop forced internal destruction.
Density & Physics Breaking: Shrinking retains full-sized kinetic force, turning micro-punches into armor-piercing bullets. Going Giant-Man turns him into a walking natural disaster.
Subatomic Sabotage: He can shrink an enemy’s heart, weapons, or entire army out of existence before they even realize he's in the room.
Quantum Dominance: He has access to a realm outside space and time. He could drop any threat into an inescapable temporal void.
The MCU's ultimate weapon is held by a guy who just wants to eat tacos and learn magic tricks.

I caught my dad with another woman when I was sixteen, never said a word, and got a new pair of sneakers out of it.
Some background. My dad has two wives, and everyone in the family treats that as normal. My mom is one of them, and the arrangement works because everyone knows the rules. He works in a town a few hours from ours, and he splits his time between the households.
That weekend, I was in his town to visit a friend. On the way back, I thought, why not surprise him? I didn't call. I bought him a drink at a roadside stand and walked up to his place with a big smile.
The door was wide open. I called his name, got no answer, and walked in.
I won't say more than this: he was in the bedroom, and the woman with him was not either of his wives. I stood in that hallway for about three seconds, which felt like three years. Then I turned around, walked out, and closed the door quietly behind me.
I didn't say a word. I didn't think I had to.
Somehow he knew anyway. By the time I got home, he'd already called twice. The next weekend, he showed up with shopping bags. Sneakers, a jacket, a watch. He took me out to dinner at a restaurant where the napkins were folded into swans, and ordered for me like I was a client. Every few minutes, he asked if I needed anything else.
We never discussed it. Not at the dinner, not in the car, not in all the years since. He just kept being unusually generous for about two months, and I kept accepting it.
I love my mom, and I love my dad. I've also never told her, and I never will, because it isn't my story to tell. That's a rule I made at sixteen, and I've kept it.
Here's the part I still find funny. I've never stopped thinking about the swan napkins. Whenever I see one, I think, that's what silence costs. It cost him about three hundred dollars and a very good watch.
I fell in love with a feminist.
I didn't know it at first.
She was just the girl who corrected my math on the whiteboard.
In front of everyone.
I laughed it off.
Then she did it again the next week.
So I started studying before every meeting.
Not for the job.
To avoid being wrong in front of her.
That's how it started.
Three months later, I asked her to dinner.
She said, "I'll pay for mine."
I said, "I invited you."
She smiled and said, "Then you can pay for the next one."
I didn't realize that was a promise.
On our fifth date, she told me something I never forgot.
