This year, #YomHaZikaron is more poignant and tragic than ever, following October 7. On Israel's Memorial Day, we honor and remember the 25,040 soldiers and 5,100 victims of terror who have lost their lives throughout Israeli history, including the 1,200 victims of Hamas' 10/7 massacre. Since last Yom HaZikaron, 766 soldiers and 834 civilians lost their lives.

It is sad when Americans have to seek refuge because they are not safe in our country. As an imigrant who sought protection and freedom I am aghast with the thought that an American born citizen is denied the rights I enjoy: via @NYTOpinion nytimes.com/2020/06/12/opini…

In our @MBK_Alliance town hall yesterday, I mentioned James Baldwin's The Fire Next Time. From 1962, it remains a seminal meditation on race by one of our greatest writers and relevant for understanding the pain and anger behind the protests. Excerpt: newyorker.com/magazine/1962/…

We've said it before and we'll say it again: the campaign to boycott Israel, known as the #BDS Movement, openly seeks Israel's destruction. Don't believe us? Ask the guy who started it. jns.org/bds-founder-says-mov…

Material development is important, but it only provides physical comfort. Peace of mind contributes to good health. Families that are moved by kindness, whether rich or poor, are happy; whereas those that are rich, but lacking in kindness and affection are unhappy.

It is a pleasure to hear you chief. I wish all our leaders would express with so much clarity.
Houston Police Chief @ArtAcevedo: “Let me just say this to the President of the United States, on behalf of the police chiefs of this country: please, if you don’t have something constructive to say, keep your mouth shut.”

This is a permanent change in health care the same way it was blood precautions after the AIDS epidemic.

The burden of the cost of anti-cancer therapies is no longer sustainable. Medicare has to be able to negotiate the price of new medications like every healthcare system in the world or allows us to import the medications we produce from other countries. #cancercare #Medicare
that's actually a pretty good rule This is drug price vs house hold income as of 2014, in our 2017 @NatRevClinOncol piece. We can just extend the blue line to present day drive.google.com/file/d/1hKf…

Thousands peacefully kneeling in DC remembering George Floyd chanting, “Stop Killing Black People.” Why isn’t this video viral? Why is the media only interested in talking about isolated acts of vandalism & theft? We’re here & We ain’t leaving.
