Illegal wildlife trade threatens wildlife and human health. The capture, transport and sale of wild animals can increase opportunities for pathogens to spread between wildlife, domestic animals and people. At the same time, wildlife crime contributes to biodiversity loss and ecosystem disruption. Protecting wildlife helps protect both planetary and human health. #ICCWC #TogetherAgainstWildlifeCrime #WorldFreeofWildlifeCrime
