So Anna Gordy suggested they get another girl to birth the child for them. She then mentioned she had a fifteen-year-old niece, Denise Gordy. If Marvin impregnates her, the child will have a biological connection to both Anna as well as Marvin. So it was decided — I suppose Denise’s feelings mattered little.
Marvin Gaye and his wife groomed her teenage niece; he impregnated her, and when she was sixteen, she gave birth to his first son, Marvin Gaye III. The couple subsequently legally adopted the child and kept his true parentage from him.
And Marvin Gaye got away with it. He continued to to enjoy his fame for another decade or so until his own father murdered him inside their family home.

In 2018, Kim Kardashian posed beside a $4 million Egyptian coffin, helping expose that it had actually been stolen.
One of the men who’d looted it recognised the coffin in her viral photo. He still hadn’t been paid.
The photograph was taken at the 2018 Met Gala, where Kardashian’s gold dress matched the gilded coffin of Nedjemankh, an ancient Egyptian priest.
According to Manhattan prosecutor Matthew Bogdanos, the furious looter contacted an informant, who connected him with investigators.
The coffin had been stolen from Egypt in 2011, then moved through dealers using a fabricated ownership history and a forged export licence claiming it had legally left Egypt in 1971.
The Metropolitan Museum of Art bought it in 2017.
By 2019, the investigation had exposed the fraud.
The coffin was returned to Egypt, and the Met’s chief executive apologised to the Egyptian people.

🚨BREAKING NEWS : Your "deleted" photos aren't deleted.
Claude Code found years of them sitting in a hidden cache on my iPhone.
I plugged my iPhone into my MacBook to run a backup. I had Claude Code doing a security check at the same time. It flagged something I wasn't looking for. A directory called PhotoData/Thumbnails.
Thousands of files. Photos, videos, screenshots. A lot of them were things I had deleted.
Photos from a couple of years ago. Screenshots I took and deleted a few seconds later. Stuff I went into Recently Deleted and cleared. Some of it was still sitting there.
What I found in that cache:
- old screenshots of banking apps
- photos I deleted right after taking them
- random pictures I didn't want on my phone anymore
- a few things I specifically remember deleting more than once
When you delete a photo on iPhone, iOS removes it from your camera roll and Recently Deleted folder. But it keeps a compressed copy in a Spotlight search cache so your phone can still find things when you search. That cache doesn't get fully cleared.
I checked which apps had Files and Folders access. There were more than I expected, including apps I downloaded a long time ago and forgot about. Any of them could potentially read files from that cache.
I went through the list and removed access from most of them.

There was a good dude who used to sell dope in Bushwick back in the 80s. Basquiat would cop from him when it was dry on the Lower. Dude had access to an abandoned bodega where he’d let certain clients (5 bundles and better) get right. One time he had a few paint cans sitting in a corner, legend has it one night Basquiat asked him if he could paint the gate outside.
Dude said yeah, and Basquiat painted one of the devils he'd paint in the dark days of his addiction.
He then goes back to the city with the dope he had left and OD’s. The next day, his face is on the cover of all the newspapers. Homie with the spot in BK has someone take the gate down and quickly puts it in storage.
At some point, dude gets knocked, does a few years. When he gets home, he brings the gate to Basquiat’s father who had put together an authentication team of his son's closest friends. At that time everyone and their mother was pulling up with Basquiat works looking to cash in. Basquiat’s buddies who knew his work well recognized the piece to be his immediately, but his dad put 2 and 2 together and rejected it.
Dude knew he had a real Basquiat, but they said it wasnt. Thats when the real fuckery began.
The movie is called The Last Basquiat.
