ALT The Bischof lab, University of Zurich, seeks to hire a motivated postdoctoral researcher with a passion for epigenetics and chromatin biology. The proposed project aims at identifying and characterizing new proteins that bind specific histone variants and posttranslational modifications in the plant model Arabidopsis thaliana using biochemical, genomic and genetic approaches. The successful applicant must hold a PhD in Biology. Experience in epigenetics, next generation sequencing, biochemistry and/or plant biology are welcomed but not mandatory. Funding is available for 18 months and extendable for two additional years with a competitive Swiss salary. The position is opened until filled.
