दीपावली एवं छठ पूजा के दौरान यात्रियों की बढ़ती भीड़ को देखते हुए साबरमती स्टेशन पर अनारक्षित श्रेणी के यात्रियों की सुविधा हेतु विशेष व्यवस्थाएं की गई हैं।
यात्रियों की सुगम एवं सुरक्षित यात्रा सुनिश्चित करने के साथ-साथ अतिरिक्त भीड़ के बेहतर प्रबंधन के लिए विशेष ट्रेनों का संचालन भी किया जा रहा है।
पश्चिम रेलवे, अहमदाबाद मंडल त्योहारों के दौरान यात्रियों की सुविधा के लिए निरंतर प्रयासरत है।

• Highest-ever October freight loading of 145.07 million tonnes, registering 8.32% growth over October 2025.
• April–October loading reaches 978.78 million tonnes, up 4.67%.
• Foodgrains loading surges by 26.3%, while domestic coal grows by 16%.
👥 𝗣𝗮𝘀𝘀𝗲𝗻𝗴𝗲𝗿 𝗣𝗲𝗿𝗳𝗼𝗿𝗺𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗲
• 64.72 crore passengers carried in October 2026, compared to 63.52 crore in October 2025.
• April–October passenger traffic reaches 443.8 crore, against 431.4 crore in the corresponding period last year.

Bengaluru, Karnataka: Union Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw says, "Special facilities have been provided for passengers accessing the middle and upper berths, with the climbing stairs redesigned for easier access. The design was finalised after people of different abilities tested it. The coaches are equipped with world-class couplers to ensure a jerk-free journey. The propulsion system and bogie design are also being upgraded with every new version of Vande Bharat trains, incorporating lessons from previous versions. Today, both Vande Bharat chair car and sleeper trains are reaching global standards in their respective categories..."
