ALT Graphic outlining our key recommendations to the ESOS amendment: 1. Immediately remove Ministerial Direction 107, which is unfairly targeting some students and universities, and is undermining equity and diversity. 2. Remove the ministerial power to control or cancel individual courses within universities. 3. Government and universities work constructively through the new ATEC for a more balanced system with sustainable growth. 4. If needed in the short term, make further amendments to the ESOS Bill to better protect students and to include a sunset clause on new powers.
