It’s The Healers’ Fault!

TLDR: Barrage is bugged and is now a horrible ult For the past few months barrage has felt a lot weaker, I noticed I couldn’t kill tankier heroes as well with it, and supports would get away really easily when it didn’t feel like they should. I thought it was just S9 health pools + more immortality abilities + tankier block abilities but turns out no, barrage is just absolutely HORRIBLY bugged. Barrage does 40 damage per rocket, 10 direct hit and 30 splash. Now (and I’m not sure how long this has been the case), barrage does not do splash damage. The rockets do 40 for direct hits still as far as I can tell, but they do not splash unless they hit something. Barrage might be one of the worst ults in the game with this, it’s genuinely awful.

DSC is doing a summer program with the games we play competitively, if you’re a high school student in the area and interested in esports, check it out! Our program is new but is growing at an absolutely insane pace, DSC will soon be a major name in collegiate esports.

I understand the reasoning for the decision, but I feel like this may end up preventing schools that are new to esports from participating in the league. NACE is a big name in collegiate esports, if other leagues follow suit, it could be worrying for the scene.

I’m an OW player, Rocket League is not a game I’d normally get super excited about, but @TheDangerTaco and @BassFromThePast absolutely stole the show with some of the best casting I’ve ever seen. Having an absolutely amazing experience here at #CECCTexas2024
