Jackson State University was an ideal passed down to me like an heirloom.
My pride is real. Our arrogance is justified. The resilience is unmatched.

Hattiesburg’s about 50% Black and the 5th largest city in MS. The results here should be viewed not just as electrifying voter turnout, but proof of massive voter suppression. It’s not that whites were massively flipped, it’s grassroots movements helping Black ppl to the polls
The black governor that called the president “daddy”???

Scott Colom after his judicial nomination got blocked:
If she loses to Scott Colom, Sen. Cindy Hyde-Smith will have helped set her own defeat in motion.
He'd likely be a federal judge right now—not her opponent—if not for the fact that she blocked Biden's nomination of him over his support for trans rights.
