it’s the kind of piece that opens up the longer you sit with it. Built from Gustav Klimt source material using X-ray, infrared, UV, and scan data, Viewfinder extrapolates hidden layers into a real-time generative work on Bitcoin. Fully on-chain. 900 1/1s. That’s why it feels different. Conceptually strong, technically serious, and built to age like fine wine because the depth is already there.

Seen a lot mixed feelings about @MagicEden stopping support for Ordinals. (dw this isn´t a passive shill about another marketplace launching soon)
Magic Eden onboarded countless collectors/users to Ordinals and if it wasn't for them, loads of projects would´t be as big as they are today - I personally think we defenatley owe a lot to them.
ME being an early mover thanks to ChartFu & others also came with downsides. They built architecture on a foundation that is largely viewed as "flawed" now, with numerous indexing issues as well.
Still, ME was by far the most "battle-tested" infra for Ordinals.
ME has to ensure they are a profitable business and considering where we are today, it is obvious why gambling is the direction so many companies are finding themselves pivoting toward.
People want to gamble and we’re in an age where companies are making people gamble without them realizing that they are.
I’ve participated in the Ordinals Ecosystem from the start and have worked with some of the bright minds in the space like @harto_fr @__proper @veryordinally @stenreiss ,.... and launching/supporting several collections including @floraforms
I can say that I think this is one of the most interesting shifts that the space has experienced to-date.
ME ending support will be tough in the short term for Ordinals, however, it creates new incentives for others to build new stuff in a way that is sustainable.
Hopefully that entails being more creator/artist focused!

Last night, 5 works by Gustav Klimt sold at @Sothebys for a combined $392 million.
As part of Viewfinder by @schwittlick_ x @belvederemuseum, we inscribed 6 Klimt masterpieces with accompanying scans from the Belvedere collection.

After months of hard work, @Ancora_art - a new art platform for Ordinals, crafted entirely from the ground up across both front-end and back-end is now officially operational.

With @Ancora_art apart from curating unique projects that aim to move the space forward, we want to onboard new artists while making it easier for their existing collectors to participate.
Art on Bitcoin should be easier to access.
We aim to make that happen.
Viewfinder is built on top of hidden brushstrokes, institutional research, and procedural generation.
Much in the way that Viewfinder extends a conversation with Klimt, it also extends a conversation that Bitcoin works like @floraforms by @harto_fr and CENTS by @sovrnart started with the chain.
What if the past wasn’t finished?
At the @belvederemuseum, conservation research used X-ray, UV, and infrared imaging to look beneath the surface of Klimt’s paintings, uncovering layers of data never visible to the public eye.
For the first time, these findings have been inscribed on Bitcoin - a permanent record of Klimt’s unseen process, preserved forever.
Viewfinder takes that data and runs it forward.
Through a custom algorithm by @schwittlick_, every fragment becomes a living, generative artwork that's constantly evolving.
