When I say I don't want to finish @joelansdale's Petrified Dreams, it's not out of any dislike of the book, but damn, it just hit me I've been reading this series my entire adult life. But it is a typically terrific Hap and Leonard novel, cool and funny all at once.

Okay, about to finish the first pass of edits on this collection (it's relatively short at 35k words). I like it quite a bit, and if you liked Christmas in the Sack from me, you will too. It's not *quite* as crass as that one but the second story is definitely of that style.

If I had the money I'd love to hire a PA sometime for the specific purpose of going through all my works and creating a spreadsheet of names I've used. I used to keep one but fell out of the habit pretty soon after I started writing.
