It's very difficult to convey the sheer terror produced by a police horse charging down on you. The only time it's happened to me is in 2010, and it's one of v few times I've been *terrified* on a protest. It is a cruel and barbaric tactic, intended to incite panic and fear.

A claim that a 2019 blogpost by Dominic Cummings was edited in 2020 to include a warning about coronaviruses is correct.
The change appears to have been made in April.
He claimed Monday that he’d warned about the virus last year.
