Kudos to Duke Energy @DukeEnergy serving my slice of Dixie. There were more than 10k homes without power in North Carolina and eastern South Carolina yesterday morning. Today, there's less than 1k. Amazing job!!

For some reason I deleted Chris's Washington DC puzzle and my Cape Cod Lighthouse puzzle by mistake. But all is well. Sort of... the lighting isn't quite right...

Killed my first copperhead of the season. Stumbled over the little guy in the freshly mowed field behind me. I grabbed my trusty grass whip and it was "off with his head" time. Two whacks, one to get his attention and the second to sever his head. Gave the fox behind me a treat.

I attended Fireworks on the Mall in DC on the 4th of July when I lived outside the Most Powerful City in the World. But the display after midnight following President Trump's stirring speech was ten times anything I ever saw. Plus the accompanying vocalist was breathtaking!!

I finished my latest Springbok puzzle: "Stone Path" dedicated to Kara @Ch33rs and temporarily placed the puzzle in its frame to give it a finished look. Tomorrow I'll permanently move the puzzle to the picture frame and hang it on my Wall of Jigsaw Puzzle Fame. Woo-hoo!!

I just received my t-shirts. Large is the right size for me. Looks terrific. Colors are bright. The fabric is soft. Cotton polyester blend feels really nice.

My Sweetie Pie founded "Fun Times" children entertainment centers for regional shopping malls nationwide. It was a moment I'll never forget. Our inaugural site was at the prestigious Ballston Common Mall outside Washington, DC.
