Had a great time at #Flux2024! I feel so inspired after the exiting presentations and discussions! An I am very grateful to have been awarded the best poster prize and to be part of this amazing scientific community, thanks @FluxSociety 🙏
Amazing flashtalk by Dr. @SimoneDobbelaar on the neural correlates of vicarious reward processing and repeated peer victimization in childhood #flux2024 @FluxSociety @Flux_Congress

Check SYNC Science Stories

📢Vacancy alert!📢 Join our @ForensicLegalP1 team!
We are looking for an assistant professor in forensic and legal psychology. Although vacancy text is in Dutch, internationals are more than welcome to apply! 👇🏼 @ESSB_Erasmus eur.nl/vacatures/ud-rechtsps…
Are you also attending #vnop2024 today and tomorrow? As @SYNClabEUR and @HealthyStart_NL, we are excited to meet other developmental psychologists and present our latest findings 👇
@yaratoenders showing how mood variability develops during adolescence. Negative mood (variability and average mood) increased during adolescence, especially for females. Higher dlPFC cortical thickness was associated with more mood variability in adolescence.
@DrsKaylaGreen closing off the symposium by explaining why she developed a multidimensional wellbeing measure for youth (co-created with youth), and further developed it into an fmri task. DMN and social brain areas are associated with wellbeing, but results depend on domains.
🧠 On Thursday May 30th, 16:00-17:15 @L_teBrinke will chair the symposium "Youth Participation beyond the Buzzwords".
@L_teBrinke explaining why a transdisciplinairy approach is crucial for youth participation in research and policy, and sharing some of the best practice she learned over the years by collaborating with youth. #vnop2024 @SYNClabEUR @HealthyStart_NL
🧠 On Thursday May 30th, 14:00-14:45, @SuzannevdGroep will present her work on online prosocial behavior in adolescence and young adulthood (Digital media session). In the same session, my PhD candidate Jennie Lukoff will present her ESM study on aggression and drug use.
Jennie Lukoff showing her plans to study daily fluctuations in aggression and substance use disorder using ESM to developmore timely and adaptive future interventions. #vnop2024 @HealthyStart_NL
@SuzannevdGroep presenting her work on online social support and activism in adolescence and young adulthood #vnop2024 @SYNClabEUR
