If you are ever feeling overwhelmed, go on a prayer walk.
Step outside, walk, and listen.
The person talking on her phone about marital problems? Pray. The elderly person with a walker. Pray. The angry man in a hurry? Pray.
If you pass a house, pray for the family. A church? Pray for its congregation. Business? Pray for the workers.
You may be the only person who cared enough to lift up a stranger’s concerns. And when you do, your own seem smaller in hindsight.
