Taxpayers gave mining titan Twiggy Forrest's Fortescu A$308M in energy subsidies in 2025 alone, plus A$99M for an H2 project he abandoned. In exchange, Forrest gave millions for propaganda to pass @AlboMP government's censorship bill. It's a transparent, sinister quid pro quo.
Online misogyny causes sexual violence, say governments. But the science doesn't support such claims. Now, a new investigation reveals that mining titan Twiggy Forrest, who receives millions in subsidies, spent millions to pass censorship legislation.

Congrats on ushering in “Black Mirror” style totalitarianism. Section 25E(1)(c) makes “material or conduct that encourages or promotes hostile attitudes towards women or gender equality” a harm platforms must keep from every user they can’t prove is an adult. Section 25E(1)(f) adds “any other material or conduct ... that may cause serious harm to children.” And your team added in the bill labeling the encouraging of someone to “take their own life” as “seriously harmful” — I take it that's so you can censor people who wish you dead — except “in the context of voluntary assisted dying.” Sick. Oh, and the evidence that your Social Services Minister cited on "Insiders" that it takes “an average of 23 minutes” to be fed “violent misogynistic content” is garbage science. There was a Dublin City University experiment with ten fake accounts on ten phones. Totalitarianism by the stupid class to prevent anyone from criticizing you. You're an embarassment.

If she was an immigrant she'd be let off with a warning, say no to 2 tier justice in Australia, help Holly by donating to her legal fees so she can raise her teen daughter. The law is not applied equally in Australia, we must stand up for our own people. #auspol
Holly, a mother from the NSW Central Coast, is facing up to five years in prison after being arrested and charged by the AFP with six counts of publicly displaying a prohibited Nazi symbol. Each count carries a mandatory minimum sentence of 12 months in jail, with a maximum of five years per count. As if this situation wasn't stressful enough, she is going through a separation now making her a single mother fighting these unjust laws independently. Holly needs to be able to keep her freedom so she can work and raise her 14 year old daughter. If you believe in free speech and that posting online should not result in mandatory jail please consider contributing. Holly needs us and our support. We will be having discussions with lawyers today. Link for GiveSendGo in comments below, please share.

Australians are spending $600 million a month on uber eats and doordash, that means in a year, just from those 2 companies blackrock and vanguard take about $1.1 billion out of the Australian ecconomy, after wages to Indian drivers, after all expenses to run the companies. $1.1 billion, gone forever. Stop using Uber. Stop using doordash.

Wow, wow, wow. I just left the National Press Club where Minister of Communications @AnikaWells spoke. She repeatedly and brazenly lied about the fake accounts, claiming they were only for enforcement, even though the legislation says in black and white that the eSafety Commissioner can use them in unlimited ways for "educational" and "promotional" purposes. One big moment came when a Politico reporter got up and said something about how mean people like @PaulineHansonOz were to eSafety Commissioner Julie Inman-Grant. Seriously. A supposed reporter was white-knighting for a government official during the official Q&A. The same reporter had come up to me before Wells' speech and asked if I had criticized Inman-Grant. Who needs government censors when you have Politico? After he asked his question, Wells showed the most emotion, describing online criticism of Inman-Grant as "abuse." She also talked about her own staff's supposed suffering. I kid you not. The mask dropped, and you could see what really upset her: people — including a sitting Senator — criticizing government officials. After gaslighting the audience about fake accounts, Wells repeatedly insisted the government wasn't trying to censor content. She said this after filling her speech with examples of content she claimed harmed people. You couldn't make it up. This legislation is the culmination of decades of progressives equating words with physical violence. Wells cynically compared her legislation to prevent psychological "harm" to various laws that protect people from physical harm, like seat belt laws. BTW, Wells never said what content it was that she thought caused eating disorders. Pictures of skinny women? Dietary advice? Who knows. Nobody asked. Another important moment came when Wells explicitly said Australia would be pursuing censorship alongside other nations, including the UK, France, and Spain—all countries where governments risk losing power to populists. I spoke with Julie Inman-Grant before the speech began and asked about the fake accounts. She insisted they were there just for enforcement, and when I asked why the law allowed them to be used for government propaganda, she said she might write an "enforcement memo," which, of course, would have no impact on the legislation. After her speech, I went up to Wells and asked if she was seriously saying the legislation didn't allow the government to use fake accounts for government propaganda. She refused to answer. A man who said he was from the National Press Club stepped in front of me and said I could interview her afterward. But that wasn't possible because they rushed her out the back to avoid any difficult questions. So there you have it. The pettiest people in Australia are seeking to silence citizens and their political opponents in the name of protecting children. These deeply intolerant and cynical people want to control what you can see and say online. And they're doing it with most of the media's support. Australia has reached a new low in its rapid descent into dogmatism, intolerance, and censorship.
The government today will introduce sweeping censorship that @AlboMP & @AnikaWells lie about. Below she claims the government wants to create a bot army of fake accounts for “research” when the bill clearly intends for them to be used in partisan warfare against fooled citizens.

Islamist extremism under the microscope 🔬 Are national averages hiding the real picture? I compared the UK, US & Australia across extremist threat types, risk factors, source material, and local Muslim concentration. 9 sheets. 3 countries. One big takeaway: a low national % can still mask a much higher local % by area. Local Muslim concentration is demographic context — it is not an extremism or threat score. AUSTRALIA 🇦🇺

🏛️ With so much discussion on why the Roman Republic fell, there is a reason that doesn’t get highlighted. Tacitus raised it in his Annals, writing that legislation is the reason for the demise. Excess legislation inevitably leads to a bloated bureaucracy that requires force to enact each new bill, and which eventually begins to decay from the sheer weight of its oversized belly. I’ll be writing in more depth on this topic in coming weeks as it relates to the importance of their constitution, and ultimately how it mirrors our own state of affairs.
🏛️ corruptissima re publica When an infection in the state reaches its peak, it is because the number of its laws are at the greatest. ___________________________________________________________ ** The first verse of the image from the era of Tiberius Gracchus in early second century BC when the rot really sets in for Rome: “Victorious over all her external enemies, Rome had nothing left to fear but herself. But soon delivered over to the fury of factions, she did not delay in tearing herself apart with her own hands. As her tyranny weighed upon the world, she plunged into corruption and rushed toward the ruin of her liberty. Along with the walls of Carthage and Numantia, her ancient virtues had also crumbled. Avarice and pride presided over the Senate, and the People, degraded by debauchery and poverty, offered to the first ambitious man who could buy their votes souls easy to seduce and hands ready to receive chains.”

Justice Wood (left) pictured with former NSW premier Carr, with support by LNP leader Peter Collins tasked Carr's chief of staff (Anthony Albanese) to re-write the terms of reference for the Wood RC because it started to identify high profile child abusers, Bob Hawke amongst the names uncovered along with judges, lawyers and low level politicians. The revised terms of reference shifted away from systemic child abuse rackets and cartels operating in Sydney's Kings Cross to protect high profile child abusers. Labor has engaged in misdirection and protection rackets for years and we just so happen to now have one of the pencil pushers as the current PM.

Since Labor took power: Net overseas migration of 1.27 million people. Actual pure new builds: Schools: 85 Hospitals: 10 Police stations: 18 Fire stations: 20 Dams: 4 Power stations:1 Sewage plants: 5 Total: 189 facilities. To simply keep the same service ratios for the new arrivals alone: Schools: 400–500+ Hospitals: 25–40 Police stations: 80–120 Fire stations: 100–150 Dams / major water storages: 15–25 Power stations: 12 Sewage treatment plants: 30–50 Total required: 800+ We got 189. They delivered a fraction of what the intake required. Mass immigration without matching infrastructure is not “nation building” its managed decline with a focus on lowering the living standards of an entire country. State and federal governments delivered 25% of the required infrastructure! Show me a party with a plan to bring services up to meet demand, a way to pay for it and a commitment to a time frame for delivery. Shut the gate in 28, let's get on with fixing our country.
