I took my son to Lightfoot Farms for Mom/Son day. We plan these excursions months in advance, and this one had a pre-paid samples day to support foster children. He had the BEST time! My favorite sample was Christmas Jam. His was a sourdough cinnamon roll. We bought one local Fall honey for our pantry. It was so much richer than Spring honey. Normally, there aren't sample events included with these days. He even received a free gemstone. – at Bartlett, TN

Mount St. Helens had some unexpected rooftop visitors! 🐐
Five mountain goats were spotted hanging out on the roof of the Johnstone Ridge Observatory, enjoying a pretty spectacular view of Mount St. Helens.
The observatory has been inaccessible to vehicles since May 2023, when a landslide destroyed the SR 504 Bridge. With fewer human visitors, it looks like the goats have claimed the prime viewing spot! 🗻 #WAwx

Ok. John's verdict is in. Godzilla Minus Zero could be done without the screaming child. He said the person behind him said, "Oh no. Not again." 🤣 Tell me about it! It was overdone and unnecessary. He loved the rest of the movie. He did get his Godzilla/King Ghidorah bucket.

A nice fall weekend is ahead as cool temperatures settle over the Midsouth. High clouds will pass over today, limiting the sunshine, as temps start in the upper 30s to mid 40s and only reach the upper 50s. Tonight, our first frost will be possible especially outside the city!
