Here’s a 1910 post card of Shibe Park, home of the Philadelphia Athletics. The date on the back is 8/14/10. The A’s were away in Cleveland on that day, but 2 months later they’d win their first World Series.

I pulled this one as a kid and was able to redeem it for a division winners team set.

Ownership would love relegation. They’d have to spend less on salaries but still make money on the brand and the history.

The Mbappe goal was pretty much an own goal. Still counts.
