“Talarico’s a q*eer!”
As Young Republicans in Texas get emotional about losing big, a friend of theirs — who they say worked for Abbott — yells out exactly the kind of hateful trash that America is sick and tired of.
The others just laugh.

You are trying to position yourself for 2028 by pretending you were concerned about those issues all along, but the fact is that when people within your own party brought up the cost of living, you made jokes about it. You are disingenuous at your core.

Congratulations to the incredible activists in Virginia who worked so hard to protect abortion rights and keep the state a regional hub for access.
Question 1 creates a constitutional right to reproductive freedom, including prenatal care, childbirth, contraception, miscarriage, fertility care, and abortion until fetal “viability.” (After which abortion is allowed to protect women’s physical or mental health.)

News Mexico’s Secretary of State tells me that verified DOJ monitors have been asking “some unusual questions and doing things that are not allowed by law such as questioning voters” in Bernalillo County. The clerk has reached out to DOJ to alert them and to fix the issue.

We know what illegal conduct looks like, Todd.
"I just need 11,780 votes."
Election Day is tomorrow. The Department of Justice expects all federal election laws to be followed. If you have a tip on illegal conduct—including but not limited to noncitizens voting, double voting, and ballot-box stuffing—contact the FBI: 1-800-Call-FBI or tips.fbi.gov
Violators will be found and prosecuted.

A Jan. 6 defendant — pardoned by Trump for threatening to "put a bullet" in Nancy Pelosi's head while driving around D.C. with guns/ammo — has been newly charged with threatening to assassinate D.C.'s federal judges.
Credit to @SeamusHughes for the find.

Washington commanders fans get locked in the metro.
It took so long for the train to get home that by the time it arrived at the final station, there were no employees there and all the doors were locked.
So tons of people were just trapped.
It normally takes like an hour to get home on the metro but today it took two hours. So everybody was already like frustrated.
Thank goodness the commanders won lol
Anyways, your final update, somebody showed up and let us out. The game ended at 11:27 PM and I got home at 1:59 AM.
I may never Metro again lol

Writing this in my personal capacity, but I have been flying these types of aircraft for more than 20 years, with over 8,000 hours, and have reasonable familiarity with how the charter world operates. I feel compelled to post after seeing commentary about the Lear 60 crash, from missile strikes to DEI to critiquing this poor woman’s final radio calls.
That last part is what I find most troubling. She was the second-in-command (SIC), and while she was empowered to point out mistakes as part of good crew resource management, she was doing her job, communicating with ATC right to the end in a terrifying situation. She likely knew before many of those calls that she was going to die. I have heard final calls from friends, from military pilots with thousands of hours in fighter aircraft, and they are just as heartbreaking because they know the end is approaching.
I understand the public interest given the footage and audio. But you do not know the aircraft’s maintenance history, whether there was a structural failure, if any failure was induced by turbulence, overspeed, or overcontrol, or everything happening in that cockpit. I am sure weather will be part of the investigation, but beyond that, it is speculation. The charter industry routinely hires commercial pilots very early in their careers to gain experience alongside an ATP-qualified captain before they move up to the airlines. She would still have the appropriate training, qualifications, and checkouts by an FAA examiner or designee.
Let people investigate, learn, and share the facts. Be respectful to those who perished and the families who carry their memories. God bless them and their loved ones.

I find this a little performative.
In 2012, you launched 1791 Denim, a line of MiUSA jeans (which I applaud). It was reported that these jeans were made by Elk Brand Manufacturing in Cadiz, Kentucky. Employees there at the time reported "unclean facilities," "no benefits or paid holiday," and "working for minimum wage." Kentucky's minimum wage in 2012 was $7.25 (same as it is today). Your jeans retailed for $130.
Working-class Americans don't need your tears, as tears don't pay the bills. They need better wages, health benefits, and safer work conditions.
Instead of these tears, I would rather you commit to paying workers better, so they don't have to labor every single minute of every day just to pay rent.
To that punk who tried to embarrass a Red Baron employee for views, you picked the wrong guy. Not because he's tough. But because he's every man.
He's the guy who leaves before the sun is up. He leaves before he can say good morning to his children. He comes home and many times, they're in bed, and he hasn't seen them all day.
He's the man who sits at the kitchen table and does the math, then comes up short, month after month after month, and he still gets up. Day after day after day. And he didn't ask for your stupid audience.
This is the forgotten man. This is the typical, quiet American who isn't chasing fame online. Not because they have nothing to say. They are quiet because they're working all of the time! Do not dismiss their silence as surrender.
And now even the grocery store isn't safe from people like you.
Strangers just sent that man more money than your stupid channel will ever make. Because that's America too. America is still good, and it's bigger than your punk ass friends.
I hope you find him and apologize to his face. Without a camera. Because a man like that, a forgotten man like that, will forgive you.
