Ambassador @ManishPrabhat06 and his spouse Ms. Ruchi Narain were invited to inaugurate the Diwali celebrations organized at Reffen. They lighted the traditional ceremonial lamp. Mr. Jesper Julian Møller, Chef and Founder of Reffen, along with Mr. Atamjit Singh and Ms. Gurminder Kaur, India Bites joined Ambassador and his spouse in the inauguration. A vibrant cultural programme followed.
On 15 October, Amb @ManishPrabhat06 inaugurated the new Ambassador Lounge in Ambassador Restaurant, one of the prominent Indian restaurants of Copenhagen. Amb, Mr. Raman Arora and Mr. Simran Arora, owners of Aura Dinings also discussed ideas for promoting and giving wider publicity to Indian cuisine in Denmark. The special and elaborate menu added to the memorable occasion. Amb conveyed his best wishes to the Ambassador group in all their activities to promote and popularise traditional as well as contemporary Indian cuisine in Denmark.
Bihar and Jharkhand Association of Denmark (BAJADE) led by Dr. Prabhat Kumar, met Amb @ManishPrabhat06 to invite him for the festival of Chhath being celebrated by BAJADE from 13-16 November 2026. Ambassador thanked them for the invitation. He encouraged BAJADE to participate in various activities/events organised by Government of India for diaspora such as Pravasi Bharatiya Divas (PBD) 2027, etc. Poster for the Chhath Puja was also released. Ambassador wished BAJADE all success for their upcoming events. BAJADE was also advised to share details of their activities with the Embassy for wider dissemination.
Telangana Association of Denmark (TAD) board met Amb @ManishPrabhat06 to invite him for the Bathukamma and Dasara festival being organized by TAD on 24th October. Ambassador thanked them for the invitation. He encouraged TAD to participate in various activities/ events organised by Government of India for diaspora such as #PravasiBharatiyaDivas (PBD) 2027, #YouthPBD2027, #KnowIndiaProgramme (KIP) etc.
Ambassador also advised TAD to prepare for the next edition of Namaste Denmark likely to be held in 2027. The Bathukamma and Dasara posters were also released. Ambassador wished TAD all success for their upcoming events and advised them to share details of their activities with the Embassy for wider dissemination.

Under PM @narendramodi’s leadership, the Union Cabinet has today approved:
✅ Creation of the Integrated Transport And Logistics Authority, bringing roads, railways, ports, aviation, waterways & urban mobility under one integrated planning framework, backed by a unified transport data repository.
✅ Setting up of the SME Growth Fund with a Rs 10,000 crore commitment, providing long-term equity capital to growth-ready SMEs and supporting enterprises across Tier-II & Tier-III industrial clusters.
A resolution was also passed, congratulating PM @narendramodi on completing 25 years of unbroken leadership as Head of Government, and celebrating this journey marked by #NationFirst & #CitizenFirst.

Danish Chamber of Commerce (Dansk Erhverv) organized a roundtable with the visiting Indian delegation from #CII and several Danish companies from different sectors to focus on opportunities to cooperate in the field of innovation between India and Denmark.
Amb @ManishPrabhat06 spoke about the ongoing cooperation between the two countries under the aegis of Green Strategic Partnership and the importance of bringing the industry of two sides together to achieve the real potential of cooperation.
Delegation members spoke about the opportunities of collaboration especially in the areas of patents, robotics, academic exchanges, automation, physical- AI, waste-to-energy and integration of wind and solar energy systems.

A delegation of Confederation of Indian Industry #CII focussing on innovation is visiting Denmark to discuss ways of enhancing bilateral cooperation between relevant stakeholders and accelerate adoption of innovation in Indian corporates, cooperation for research, inter - university collaboration, collaboration in digital area and utilize complimentarities in the economies of both sides.
The #CII delegation visited the Embassy and met Amb @ManishPrabhat06. Amb highlighted that five years of Green Strategic Partnership between India and Denmark has brought encouraging results. During the 3rd India Nordic Summit, the Green Strategic and Innovation Partnership was established between India and the Nordics. Further the India-EU FTA is going to be implemented. Industries could make use of the new opportunities provided and prepare for the innovation and technology landscape change which is going to come with the #IndiaEU #FTA.

The Embassy of India, Copenhagen, in association with the Danish India Sports Association (DISA), led by Mr. Nanda Kumar Reddy, and Art of Living, Denmark, observed #WorldMentalHealthDay with an engaging programme promoting mental well-being, healthy living and holistic approaches to health.
Ambassador @ManishPrabhat06 emphasised the importance of recognising mental health concerns and embracing modern approaches to treatment, highlighting the value of open conversations, sharing experiences and supporting one another in today’s fast-paced world.
Mr. Moritz Belstrup, representative of Høje-Taastrup Kommune, shared his experiences of using holistic approaches to relieve stress and pain. Line Assor, representative of Høje-Taastrup Parasport, highlighted the role of sports and holistic practices in promoting good mental health among children with special needs.

Expert-led sessions covered pain and injury management by Mr. Hemant Juneja, Ph.D. (Physiotherapy), MPT (Sports Physiotherapy); Heartfulness meditation by Mr. Ramchandra Tiruvalam of the Heartfulness Institute; diet and nutrition by Ms. Mayuri Sunil; and breathing techniques demonstrated by Mr. Bedabrata Saha of Art of Living. Practical exercises engaged participants in techniques for relaxation and stress management.
The programme highlighted the close connection between physical and mental well-being, encouraging healthier lifestyles through mindfulness, balanced nutrition, breathing practices and physical activity.

On behalf of Routes 2 Roots, we are pleased to share information about the Advanced English Learning and Spoken Hindi Courses for International Students, a collaborative initiative of Routes 2 Roots and the Indian Council for Cultural Relations (ICCR), aimed at strengthening language skills and supporting international students in their academic journey in India.
The Advanced English Learning Course focuses on improving English communication skills and strengthening the language foundation for examinations such as IELTS and TOEFL, while the Spoken Hindi Course helps students develop practical Hindi communication skills for everyday life in India.
These courses can also support students preparing for future academic opportunities, including exploring the ICCR Scholarship Programme 2027–2028, subject to the applicable eligibility criteria and official requirements.
