Basically this. My 2 main issues were data centers & maybe not accusing anti-ICE people of having the "dumbest political take in the history of politics" as Bodnar did. Fortunately, w the blue wave Bodnar is irrelevant & we lose this "battle" but win the war against oligarchs.

A lot of national people are not understanding that many Bankhead voters weren't voting for Bodnar under any circumstances There was a path for Dems to take this Senate seat, but it wasn't with Bodnar, particularly as an Independent #mtelex #MTPOL

Well it certainly didn't reach. I honestly thought at the beginning she might have a spark, but a poorly run campaign devolving into constant knife fights doomed her campaign. She also could not find support - I even asked her once who her base was and she didn't have an answer.

I also think the hardcore Bankhead supporters simply dislike Bodnar for vague reasons. Realistically Bankhead even winning in the first place was more of an indictment of voter exhaustion with Reilly Neill. Neither of them ran a good campaign, esp Bankhead.
