It is pretty lucrative to be an activist these days. Just look at the six figure salaries that Jo and Joy Banner pay themselves. In 2023, they reported $105,416 in compensation. The next year in 2024, they gave themselves a 26% raise (!!) and now make $132,715 each!
Michael Bloomberg has spent over $3 billion on environmental causes. We may never know exactly how much of that funding has flowed into Louisiana, but we do know that these outside forces are committed to dismantling Louisiana's manufacturing industry.
