I think my post was confusing yesterday π
the language barrier + Dave is kind of crazy = confusion
I'll clarify: When I see collectors mistreating artists here, throwing their weight around with their bullshit opinions like they know something, talking down to people... π
I feel bad that people I think are extremely talented have to kiss up to them because they need to earn money- and I get it, I goto work every morning too...
It's confusing sometimes because I see artists seemingly genuinely sticking up for these people because maybe they know more than I do π€·ββοΈ
Truth is, I spend a lot of time and effort trying to learn about these people's stories, to give them the benefit of the doubt... And in the end, my conclusion is that they are acting poorly and taking advantage of people.
BTW, I can certainly look in the mirror, I'm not really all that great either. You'll understand this if you try to get close to me at all π
I'm kind of an empty bag when it comes to that.
In some bizarre streak of luck, or possibly my extremist "underground" attitude, I have stayed off of all of these guys' radars, so I'm absolutely not talking about you π«΅π«Ά
Just a little random anger seeping out of my psyche... there's actually A LOT in there π but I think it's ugly and I'm ashamed of it, so I try to hide it and focus on good things β€οΈβπ₯
