“Furyk seems to want to adopt a different approach with his captains selections, picking guys that might be more course fits on paper than guys who are in better form.
The USA has traditionally ignored the course fit players and have taken guys with more match play experience.
Will Furyk learn from his mistakes back in 2018 and on all the teams he has been a Vice Captain on?
Only time will tell next year, but I thought the message Furyk sent on Tuesday was great. “
