The most important thread I ever wrote: TLDR; The technology that complements Wi-Fi, GPS and Bluetooth as the world’s next default won’t be a signal. It will be a blockchain embedded in silicon. The world doesn’t change when software gets better. The world changes when technology moves into silicon. Wi-Fi was just a protocol until it became a default chip feature. GPS was military infrastructure until it lived inside every phone. NFC was irrelevant until it became a tap-to-pay standard. USB unified everything only after it became universal hardware. TPM became the silent guardian of modern computing only when it was etched into motherboards. Revolutions don’t happen when code improves. Revolutions happen when infrastructure becomes invisible. When it becomes hardware. When opting out stops being an option. And this is exactly why $Minima (@Minima_Global ) hits different. Not because it’s a “blockchain”. But because it’s the first one engineered to live inside devices, the same way Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS and TPM do today. A full node so small it can run on microcontrollers. A consensus that requires no servers, no validators, no leaders, no cloud. Quantum-resistant at its core. Gasless. Fully decentralised by design. And now moving from code to chip. If this architecture goes on-chip, the entire world flips. Devices authenticate without central authorities. Cars settle their own charging and parking. Robots negotiate tasks autonomously. Sensors buy and sell data. Factories form offline mesh networks. Critical infrastructure becomes self-verifying. The physical world finally gains a trust layer no one can control. Every major tech standard followed the same pattern: ignored → underestimated → embedded → inevitable. If $Minima becomes embedded, it stops being a token. It becomes infrastructure. And with a fixed supply of just 1,000,000,000, the math becomes almost unreal. Billions of devices. One global network. One microscopic supply. Some people see a chart. Some people see the birth of the next hardware standard. They will understand later. Silicon always wins. (Save the thread for 2028)

quite interesting what would happen if qwen had capabilities of unreleased frontier models, sat on-chain-fully-decentralized and noone could turn it off

hand written paper form poc consensus fundamentals while ai agents write their own language -> core humanity performance preserved
btw, the day wasn't wasted, we discovered another bottleneck that required special attention, so we decided to deduce it from a proof-of-concept form, rather than simply as an algorithm and separately decided to prove that after any write, the state remains synchronized among all participants, a quorum requires both thresholds (number and weight of participants) to be met the learning context itself, based on moving consensus, doesn't change the vote, lock, or finalization phase. this was a rather specific problem, so we decided to formalize it (sorry for the format - the OPD platform will be available in a couple of days, but for now, we're writing the descriptive part manually), so you can take a look at it here: gitlab.octra.org.uk/octra/li… the new release marker is now available for validators, pls upgrade as usual: sh controls/upgrade.sh sh controls/upgrade.sh --apply sh controls/stat.sh

so proud of you and happy to see your meaningful contributions!
Zapraszam do kontrybucji.

being a developed protocol in undeveloped world. opd octra
releasing the latest hand made bits to improve fault tolerance (the upgrade will be required on weekends), as well as a portal with all changes and the proposal log, which stands out for its activation rules, the name has been coined -OPD (octra protocol document), everyone will be able to participate in proposals for changes. OPDs are needed to structure all the changes and separately highlight explanations of why they have been made in the first place, and to propose a discussion.

use circles in octra to host private resources, apps, data, etc, there will be nothing to steal, and there is no such concept as exit nodes – at London, England
🛑 Attackers hijacked over 300 Tor exit relays to intercept SSH connections and steal login passwords. A researcher found 333 exits redirecting SSH traffic to 12 interception servers. The Tor Project has since blocked the affected relays. Here's how the attack worked: thehackernews.com/2026/10/at…

hack yourself before other do (the policy we ourselves adhere to). fyi: an automated fuzzing search engine based on slop generators (by @octralex) found critical crap in ALL projects we've ever interacted with (since there's already context), some have been fixed, others haven't been revealed yet and may not be, given the mixed reactions. what a time to be alive – at London, England
a new unscheduled release is now available for vals. please upgrade your nodes (a lot has been done on recovery and sync + an old bug from an earlier implementation at the vm level has been fixed) * * the node could process the same epoch twice, and the root at that moment was different, when building and checking proposals at the consensus level, it was specified as 32 raw bytes (the earliest implementation from the end of 2024),and when using the epoch from the head, it was transmitted as a 64-hex string, so the bug was found during pre-release main net testing for mem compatibility of different program envs upgrading is easy - sh controls/upgrade.sh sh controls/upgrade.sh --apply sh controls/stat.sh github.com/octra-labs/lite_n…

So basically, today PHP got two critical bugs that let anyone run code on your server without even logging in, which is bad, and then the details leaked before the patch was even out, which is worse, and it works on WordPress and MediaWiki and Magento and Joomla and Laravel, and Censys says like 1.5 million servers are running a version with no fix, so the NSA was like "take your system offline," and the FBI was like "take your system offline," and CISA and the UK and CERT-EU were all like "take your system offline," and then the Prime Minister of Japan, the actual Prime Minister, posted at 5:55 in the morning telling 48.8 million people to take their system offline, so everyone took their system offline, like the Dutch cybersecurity agency took its own website offline, and the Dutch parliament went offline, and the Port of Rotterdam went offline, and Finland and France and Denmark started pulling government sites, and Wikipedia went down, and Archive.org went down, and Asana and GOG and Something Awful went down, and the University of Vienna's webmail went down for some reason, and that's just PHP. Because GitLab also dropped a CVSS 10.0, which is the highest score they give out, for a bug that's been there since 2014, so that's every self-hosted GitLab for twelve years, and then LiteLLM 1.107.0 got hijacked and shipped a credential stealer and a remote access trojan in every single wheel and the Docker images, including latest, and you didn't even have to import it, just installing it was enough, and it's the second time this year, and then Railway paused every deployment on the entire platform because someone got into the environment variables, so now everyone has to rotate every secret they've ever stored there, and TiDB Cloud said someone was walking around inside with stolen credentials for basically a month and an extortion group says they took 10.6 terabytes, and Zeabur got breached for the second time in two months and is just shutting down, like the whole company, and Node.js patched remote code execution and a TLS bypass, and CISA says Plex is being actively exploited, and someone took over 300 Tor exit relays to steal SSH passwords, and SafePay ransomware has hit over 600 critical infrastructure orgs, and India's biggest bank filed a data loss incident, and Japan has been in an official state of emergency in cyberspace since October 9, which honestly explains the 5:55 AM post. Oh, and eMudhra, a certificate authority that's issued over 60 million certificates, whose entire job is proving websites are who they say they are, was supposed to be using private keys that are random numbers over a hundred digits long, and one of them was 4. Just 4. And the others were like 66 and 237. Anyway, it's Wednesday.

We've developed a new inference engine, called 'e'. It's the closest thing to alien technology which we have, and pushes 10,500 tok/s aggregate on a single DGX Station with the new @NVIDIAAI Nemotron 3.5 Super VL model, released a few minutes ago.
Actual Computer turns your NVIDIA DGX Station into a department-scale AI factory. Read the full case study: actual.inc/company/blog/case…

the universal encrypted compute platform is natively agentic. y’all hear that?
Octra does not actually need a new CLI, it is natively agentic. Any agent can build webcli, derive keys, fund a wallet, encrypt, deploy programs and circles and even run nodes. The RPC scheme is complete, our own fleet runs on public code. Easily the most agent friendly network:

the new upgrade is already available, it includes important updates for fault tolerance as well as an addition for resource compute protocol, which was previously unavailable in the lite node but has been moved from the bootstrap build to achieve more natural and seamless decentralization, activation will be in 1 day, there is time to update (as previously said, this is no longer a major update on top of consensus, but a module within the runtime), the upgrade as always with a single list of commands: sh controls/upgrade.sh sh controls/upgrade.sh --apply sh controls/stat.sh ps: if the message "installed ... pending" appears, leave the node running, do not restart it in a loop. regarding the build - marker 32, source f7637a7e, and you need to update to 1688734, consider this the final update, further only applied upgrades. we've also migrated the earliest work on formal verification from 2021, so you can do some dev-archaeology, among other things( if you have the time) thanks everyone. github.com/octra-labs/lite_n… – at London, England

According to @lambda0xE's post, no more significant upgrades are expected, so we are moving forward with the current build. We are currently polishing the @topology_wallet and plan to ship in about a month.
