#IG6 played host to WA Premier @RogerCookMLA, Minister Amber-Jade Sanderson MLA, Minister David Michael MLA and Jodie Hanns MLA, alongside reps from the Department of Energy and Economic Diversification and the Department of the Premier and Cabinet this morning. The visit provided an opportunity to showcase IG6’s downstream graphite processing capabilities, progress on our commercial micronising facility and discuss the important role of critical minerals and advanced manufacturing in WA’s future. Students from the @WAMiningClub Get Into Mining camp visited #IG6's R&D Facility this week. Best question of the day? "How many hamsters would it take to power the process plant?" Collie Ops Manager Josh Hearse did the maths: 🐹 200,000 running at once. 🐹 Around 800,000 to cover shifts, annual leave and wheel maintenance. Safe to say our current power supply remains the more practical option.
