During this week @InterfaithRda with @RBCRwanda through #Religious Denominations conducted community awareness sessions in @GisagaraDistr for promoting positive behavior towards Healthy lifestyle including #Malaria prevention and response @RwandaSouth
During this awareness sessions by @InterfaithRda with @RBCRwanda The community members were reminded on the role of #Malaria prevention including eliminating mosquito breeding sites. They were also informed of the Malaria MultiFirst Line Treatment #MFT intervention which is on the second year of Implementation.

These religious leaders had been trained last week for five days by @InterfaithRda with @Imbuto and @RBCRwanda providing them with knowledge, practical skills and tools to promote mental health, provide basic #PsychologicalSupport and establish #SafeSpaces within their #ReligiousSettings. They were also empowered to facilitate appropriate #referral and linkages to professional #MentalHealth services.

The messages disseminated by @InterfaithRda and @RBCRwanda emphasised on elimination of #mosquito breeding sites in preparation of the upcoming #RainySeason which can provide stagnant water used by #mosquitoes to lay eggs as well as messages on seeking early treatment at local #CHW when having symptoms of #Malaria
It was a fruitful session with authorities from @Nyamasheke to discuss on upcoming new interventions in the district to support #youth and #women in #off_farm activities

As part of its commitment to promoting healthier communities, @interfaith RICH with @RBCRwanda is facilitating interactive session in @Muhangadis on the promotion of #HealthyLifestyle. Today, special emphasis is being given on #HIV prevention, prevention of #TeenagePregnancies, the adherence to HIV treatment, combating HIV-related stigma and discrimination.
