I started doing spaces in August of 2022. I was in a really really bad car accident and was in bed for a few months so I decided why not start talking Magic hoops to pass the time?
We did 70+ spaces in that season and every space was slightly bigger than the last one, and we started having guests like Dante, Kendra, a few players that would join to listen and since then it’s become a major part of our community. Even passing over 1000 live listers at one time.
Fast forward to this season and I’ve been beyond blessed with the opportunity to cover the team in person, something I actually spent my entire collegiate experience dreaming of. I’ve also been blessed to have all of you guys joining the spaces and interacting with me and just overall welcoming me into the community even more. I’ve came to the decision that I want to see how far I can take this.
With that being said I think it’s time to come clean, my name is in fact NOT Stanley Swanson (idk how many Puerto Ricans you guys know named Stanley Swanson 😂). I’m choosing to do this so 1. You guys aren’t confused when you see me at a game and my media pass says a different name 2. I want the satisfaction of having my actual name on my media passes to know I’ve actually accomplished.
You guys can still call me Stan, I know that’s already been established but I wanted to reintroduce myself to you guys and I hope you all rock with me the same way you did before.
