I only got to have the briefest of chats with Simon over messenger but I'd been a fan of his Blake's 7 and 2001 work for years, so sorry to hear this news.
Between books, comics, special effects, concerts and a house move 2024 was nuts and 2025 is looking just as crazy. (Maybe a few more vay-cays though)
