I am trying to keep my newbie wannabe author questions to 2 a week. So here is number 2:
What are people “vague” about?
Is it a book deal? Is it that secret email in your inbox you can’t tell me about?
What’s happening and why is it a secret 🤫🤐

Had the best time this morning chatting with these lovely ladies at their book club. Was such a privilege to attend and chat about my book and my writing process. I felt so welcomed, supported, and got some amazing feedback 😊❤️

I'm attending my first proper author event today! I'm both excited and terrified 😛
I'm catching up with a local book club who read my book this past month. It should be a lot of fun, but that doesn't stop the nerves.
Wish me luck! And yep, I am rocking some crazy beach hair 🤣 – at Merimbula, New South Wales

Agent. Mother. Other. was #88 on Amazon in the "Feel Good Fiction" category this morning! 😲 That's amazing!
Whether it deserves to be classified into that category, well, I'll leave that up to you to decided after you've read it 😛
Thank you to everyone who pre-ordered!

I just noticed @ProWritingAid now has a Critique function:
"The tension in this scene arises from the mystery and potential power of the symbol. It effectively engages the reader and creates anticipation for future developments."
Very cool 😎

Distractor-pup in full distractor mode. I only have 3 pages left to edit in this chapter, but he's so floofy and needs the pats. I don't think I'm strong enough to resist 🐶

Truth time. I've been struggling with editing the last couple of weeks. I've had to overcome resistance everytime. But I realised it's because I'm in the chapter where the plot comes together before the climax, and patching plot holes and connecting threads is hard work 🥵
