Iowa Lakes Golf

Laker Men finished 13th as a team. Extremely honored to be a small part of what this team accomplished this year. Nothing but great things ahead for each one of them! Also, congrats to @KCC_GOLF!! Way to represent ICCAC!

🚨18-hole Record Tie🚨 (9/9/25) Josh Matheason posted a bogey-free 66 (-6) to tie the record set by Matt Bennett in 2015.

Hayden carded a PR (84) to finish T-3. Jayden went birdie birdie to finish -2 (70) earning solo 2nd! Everyone else played great but had a little early season rust. Tons of positives! #LakerProud

Became a big fan of both JJ Spaun and Sam Burns after seeing how they carry themselves through the negatives and continue to grind. Golf is mental warfare and there’s a lot to be learned from how they never stopped competing.

This is never justified. Unreal how many high school/college players think this is okay.

All-Region honors! Added bonus that all 3 are freshmen 😎 #LakerProud

Women’s 24-25 season ended on a high note. Extremely proud of what these ladies accomplished! Tons of growth this year. Ranked 15th coming in and finished 11th.

Wind gusts up to 40 Mph today challenged us. Looks like the same conditions forecasted tomorrow. Final 18 holes of the year.. looking to make the most of it!

Day 3! Ladies are off the back 9 first today. That plays in our favor with back 9 being links style and high winds expected this afternoon. Scores are going to be higher.. it will be a GRIND scoreboard.clippd.com/tourna…

Day 2 Results: (still some ladies finishing up their rounds) *highlighted by Leah’s hole-out for eagle from 130 yards* We improved by 13 as a team and are within striking distance of top-10!

Day 1 results: Vibes are high moving into tomorrow. We’re going to play with less fear of mistakes and increase the confidence as the tournament progresses!

Special shoutout to Laker Alumni, Allison (Freeman) Ward and her dad, Kort Freeman. Drove down to support us! Kort has been my mentor and coach since I could walk! Lots of love for these two! We appreciate the support!
